 Review:

Quite possibly the worst casino slot machine odds I have EVER encountered.

Of course, when you are dealing with a state government like Pennsylvania's - what should one expect. Bottom line for The Meadows... if you play here and you live in Pennsylvania - you are overpaying your property taxes.

If you live out of state and you play here - save the gas, money and time. This casino is voted most likely to look like a casino in the old Soviet Union.

Keep in mind - it isn't the casino owners fault - but the fact that the state takes 55% of the cut.

Bright inside. Nice selection of machines.

9/6/5/4/ Double Bonus video poker seems to be the best payback schedule. They recently changed the penny 100 and 50 play poker machines to the same schedule. They used to be 9/5.

VP machines that are bright and easy to read, and can play nickel, dime, quarter, 50 cents and dollar all on the same machine.

I haven't had the chance to try the food, but it was pretty good at the old grandstand.

Don't play BJ. Only 2-1 payback on blackjacks.

No non-smoking section, which would be nice. There is a charge for alcoholic drinks.

Easily the best casino of the three area casinos. (The other two are in WV)

New Place in PA. Great fun. Many new slots. Lots (really LOTS) of pennies, nickles, & quarters. The place was packed and saw lots of winning. Ww won several nice small jackpots.

Will return to see if they keep it that way.
There are two places to eat. Seemed ok for that. Plenty of employees for serving drinks and keeping the place well cared for.
