Sam's Town Shreveport Opens to the
Public
SHREVEPORT, LA, May 20,
2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Boyd Gaming Corporation (NYSE:
BYD) announced today that Sam's Town Shreveport opened to the public
this evening. The property, formerly Harrah's Shreveport, was
acquired from Harrah's yesterday and was closed briefly to allow for
an orderly transition of gaming operations.
Sam's Town Shreveport features a 514-room hotel, four
restaurants, convention center and 28,000 square feet of casino
space.
