Cache Creek
Cache Creek Casino still has many new penny slot machines and old favorites. We have eaten in the deli, the Chinese restaurant and 24 hour cafe but have not stayed at the hotel.
The next closest to the SF Bay Area
Almost two hours drive from San Francisco. The time to get there is extended since you have to drive from two major highways to a county highway then residential streets (driving speeds will vary between 55 mph down to 25 mpg)
I have not stayed at the hotel yet but the resort looks very nice. No water fountain so bring you own water or over pay for bottled water there. The various restaurants will please all. The deli is a little pricey. Entertainment ranges from locals to headliners. Lots of new penny slots, there is a non-smoking area, The sports grill is great.
Surprisingly nice
Cache Creek has a nice atmosphere. It is clean, with a wide variety of slots. There Video Poker selection is better than most casinos in California. While they are short pay, they do have some at the 10 cent and 20 cent level.
Their player's club is generous in the free slot play offers, we get $60 a week for minimal play. Avoid Saturday night, very crowded.

Cache Creek
Cache Creek is a very nice casino and close to the San Francisco bay area. We love the variety of penny slots and the monthly free offers we get in the mail from the player's club.
