Great place
We've been going to Harrah's since they opened and have always enjoyed it. We are just penny slot players but always get free rooms and meals. The hotel has nice rooms and big bathrooms, a lot nicer than some of the regular hotels we've stayed at! Once we got a free 1400 square foot suite which was very nice.
We've used the spa for wonderful massages and the nice ADULT ONLY jacuzzis outside. We get great service from all the employees, who always greet us by name now.
Their food has always been just average. The new buffet is a big improvement over what it used to be but not nearly as great as nearby Valley View casino. Some days we win and some days we lose but we still love the casino. For me it's a nice relaxing getaway from work and close to home.
For slots, we usually play there, Valley View and Pauma casinos as well. The best variety of slots is at Valley View though. Although we rated the table games cause the form wants you to, we don't play them.
For those of you who don't like it because of the "Asians", shame on you for being such bigots. I've heard and seen lots of white players that can't speak English, don't bathe much, and don't know how to behave in public. I'd be happy to have them not come to Harrahs!
Well, ..it..is nice...
Well, i have been there a couple of times, ...and i have never won at this casino...just a few bucks....
The last time we went to one of the restaurants inside and the service took so long to bring the food to the table....like 25 min..
The music band is great, ....the music they play is great too, rock, blues, R&B ..is nice....and you can hear it from the slot machine that you are playing near the stage.
If you want a beer you have to go to the bar and sometimes it's busy over there....and you have to wait a little bit to have your drink.....sometimes the barman in charge there won´t even say "hi"....i mean...ii is s part of the service and courtesy too...don´t you think?...they could have more happy customers with a nice attitude.
So, over all, it is a nice casino, with nice music, good beer, a lot of slots machines to choose from, just the downside is the service in restaurants, etc.......and remember...on Friday and Saturday after 6 pm....it is going to be full and sometimes you will have to walk a little bit to find a good, nice and lonely slot machine...
so good luck, and pull that lucky handle.....
Harrahs experience
Nice casino/hotel, very friendly employees, good food but a bit pricey compared to adjacent tribal casinos, slots are in abundance with many newer games but are fairly "tight" and jackpots are scarce.
Location kills it by being quite a ways off the beaten path.
Lucky tables
We were lucky at the tables and slots on our visit. Diamond club space is better than most with very friendly staff & many flat screen TVs to watch sports. The pool was beautiful & many hot tubs to choose from & a nice bar. The rooms were nice. We had a great time.
Drawbacks: Far from San Diego and hard to find at night. Smoking is allowed at all tables - being from Illinois not used to being in the smoke.
Not what it use to be
This place buses in from anywhere, they don't care who they get in there as long as the place is packed.
It use to be top notch and a blast to play but I'm finding the slots are tighter and the *free spins* hard to find. They have a special on Tuesdays where you can get $20.00 in comp play but the line was 60 people deep. I dont need twenty bucks that bad. Now I think I'll go elsewhere.
Just what you'd expect.
Great setting. We spent an overnight here, and it's just what you'd expect from a Harrah's.
Plus & Minus
I've been to Rincon several times. On the plus side, I've always found the customer service to be excellent, great employees everywhere. I've eaten at every reastaurant and all have good to great food. I'm always amused when asked to rate slots. I don't play slots but those who do give high marks when they win and low when they lose.
On the minus side, Rincon is a pain to get to from the airport, there is no convenient transportation. I used to get offers for free air, room and ground transportation but no more.
All Harrah's casinos are hurting and they face a double edged sword; try to cut costs and still attract customers. They are failing. Someone complained about all the Asians. I like to hang out at the Pool Bar when not gambling and the Asians don't go there. Problem is, the Pool Bar is closed for several months so I won't be back anytime soon.

Don't Bother
If you are not of asian descent skip this place. They bus everyone in from every asian community in San Diego, LA, and Orange counties.
This casino is bleeding money. They have cut their offers, perks, and service everywhere from the free refreshments to the diamond lounge. If you can speak English don't go.

Harrah's Rincon
I liked this hotel and casino very much. The rooms were much more upscale than I expected and had a plasma TV. The bathroom was really nice.
All the employees were very nice and friendly.
The first time I went to Harrahs Rincon, I gambled only- no stay. Within a
few weeks got an invation for 2 free nites. We stayed there and was quite happy with it but the only comps we get now are for $5 slot and food credit.
