Construction to Begin on Hotel at Boomtown Casino New Orleans

According to officials at the Boomtown Casino New Orleans in Harvey, Louisiana, construction will begin on the property's new $20 million hotel immediately. Casino representatives, as well as representative of the casino's parent company Pinnacle Entertainment, gaming board officials and parish leaders broke ground at the site of the hotel on Thursday.



The new five-story hotel hotel will feature 150 rooms including eight beautiful suites, a fitness center, a conference space, and 250 additional parking spaces. Construction on the hotel is expected to take about 14 months and will create 150 construction jobs.

"This is a memorable day for the Boomtown team and the West Bank community as we break ground on a terrific new hotel tower; a project that will allow us to attract new guests while also providing enhanced amenities to guests who visit us today," said Boomtown Vice President and General Manager Harold Rowland. "The addition of a hotel will also provide a wonderful experience for Pinnacle Entertainment guests who come to visit the New Orleans area from around the country."

The addition of the new hotel at the Louisiana casino will also create 50 permanent jobs.
