The casino is beautiful inside. Formerly the home of the Higbee Company, this 300,000 square foot entertainment area is of Vegas quality. There's 2,100 slots and 64 gaming tables with 30 of them being World Series of Poker tables located on the 4th floor of the building. The ground floor houses a 400 seat buffet named The Spread which offers a variety of eating choices available 24/7. There are two bars (one on the 2nd floor and one on the 3rd) and there's a food court which houses Corky & Lenny's, Rosie's, and B Spot Burgers (all of which are locally owned restaurants; also located on the 3rd floor). The slots range in price from 1 cent to the high limit $500 and the gaming tables can range (depending on day/time) from $10-50 minimum. Altogether it's a fun time. Will definitely be making repeat visits!

Living in Cleveland all of my life, I always knew a casino, if done correctly, could be a great thing downtown. Dan Gilbert spared no expenses on this one. Its gorgeous inside. Keeping the integrity of the Higbees building, the Horseshoe is impressive

Are there some things they could improve upon? Sure. Here are a few:

1) Table Games: I know it's week one and it's busy but I am hoping table minimums of $50 doesn't stay. My guess is once the excitement wears off these will decrease. That being said, even with the high minimums the tables were full

2)Food & Drink: They definitely need a 24 hour food service somewhere in there. If you are going to be open 24 hours, then you need to accommodate your guests. That being said we had the Sunday brunch. I heard some squawking about the price($22) but this is a BRUNCH. They had everything you could want. And good luck finding a quality brunch in Cleveland for under $20. Also, they need to staff the bars better and have quicker service from waitresses. Having one bartender at a bar isn't going to cut it and waiting 30 minutes for a pop isn't going to cut it either. Love the option of being able to order from your seat. Very cool! Hopefully this will improve as things die down

Be aware that you can get FREE parking if you gamble 30 minutes and have a tier score of 15. Simply take your players card and swipe it in one of the promotions areas. It will give you a validation to give to the parking attendant. You must park in the 2 assigned garages though. Look on their website for more info!

Small but will recommend and go there again. Food and drinks were very well priced and tastey. Slots were very nice to use. Players club cards were an added bonus!!

Didn't do alot here. Was in the Branch House which was up the street about a whole block. The room was nice except was not totally cleaned. Peanuts still on the floor from previous people. Had a hard time getting a hold of front desk, pop machine and ice machine didn't work, and neither did WiFi connection. Not at all like rooms in the main hotel with heated towels racks and huge fluffy pillows. For the price we had to pay was not worth it.

Take cell phones with you/expect to get lost. The place is huge. Lots of penny slots but they
close many down during the week. Buffet is good but they could replace the snow crab with dungenous. RV park is first class but attendents seem to have an attitude. Play the right slots and you can make money. They may be hard to find but they're there. I was there in May and will return.

Love the Saratoga area and would like to spend a few hours on the weekend there for entertainment. But...we have spent many days and evenings at the casino trying to enjoy ourselves. On the slots, we mostly play max bet of $4.00-$6.00 and when we finally get a bonus the payout it is $17.00 to $50.00! Now we realize gambling is just that, a gamble but you would think if you spend $500- $700 on one trip you would at least get to play a couple of hours, not so. Last trip I play $4.00 all night and finally got wilds all across the screen with a double sign and got $100.00 (I had already put in $50.00) And then they send us $20.00 free play after you leave $500 there. When we returned home, we talked to relatives and friends who visited Saratoga casino and they had very similar stories. So like our friends and relatives we are sorry to say we will not be returning and last year we were so looking forward to the expansion to the casino...

for the over 40 club in mini skirts you hit the jackpot on a Fri/Sat night. Foods gone downhill, drinks ok. Slots are drop a hundred for a two dollar payout and table games you're at their
disposal. So take a couple hundred Bucks, give it to the waiter at the door, pick yourself up a forty year old and go to the movies. You,ll enjoy it more.

Nice casino and great buffet. We stopped by after taking care of some business in Dubuque, glad we did. Weekday lunch was quite busy. Buffet is not huge but the food was excellent. $3 craps, both got $5 free slot play for signing up at the slot club, won a little $. Will return if we get back to Dubuque.

I live 15 minutes from this casino, I average 3 visits a week. I'm a small player just looking to have some fun. This place has gone downhill over the last 2 years. Slots are the tightest I've seen in a long time. Players Club attendants look the other way when you approach their counter. Trying to find a cocktail waitress is impossible. God forbid your machine goes down, I've waited over 20 minutes to try and flag down a technician. Now when this happens, I pull out my cell phone and call the front desk to ask for some help. But who's the idiot in all this, it's me. I'll be back next week to pick out some mystery envelope with my big $^.00 in free play.

Newcastle Casino went from being one of the best casinos in the state to the absolute worst casino in the state over the last year. Nobody is winning anything at Newcastle.About half of the machines are broken and even with all of the employees standing around you can't get any help when you need it. Even in the bonus round the VGT Machines have very weak payouts. Attendance is also very weak so the word is spreading about the low payouts. When you are having troubling getting people in the door lowering the payout percentages is an ignorant business decision. These Indian Casinos are on the take with a license to steal and they are stealing from the good citizens of Oklahoma.
