OK, so I went on this ship when it first launched, and yes they had some issues. However, they seemed to get the kinks out and now this ship is first class. I was skeptical about the food, but everything was very good to amazing. The ship is very clean, and things to be all in order. What a great time I had. I lost a little bit of money on the tables (nothing to cry over), but it was still well worth the experience. I well be back again soon enough and going to win by money back!!! Sports betting too! LOVE IT!!

As others have, I visited this boat as I love the ship gambling, especially as a non smoker and the inside is non smoking. My first experince about a month or so ago was not great, but I went back as a lot of the people working there were former Palm Beach Princess and I loved the people. My trip this past week was great, the food was good, actually a themed evening, the tables were busy, they finally fixed the AC, I saw a lot of old friends as well who used to go on the Princess. I am going to cheer these guys on as they are working real hard to get this right, and for me, sports betting, craps, the ocean, non smoking, roulette, great decor, and I suppose the most important part for me and my buddies, it is our local casino, so we need to support it, or continue to let the seminoles take our money.

I will be onboard again this weekend, s a self proclaimed coastal gaming lover, give them another chance.

I'M DOWN FROM RHODE ISLAND WITH MY HUSBAND VISITING FAMILY AND DECIDED TO GO TO THE BLACK DIAMOND THINKING IT WOULD BE FUN,WELL WHEN YOU FIRST GO IN YOU GO TO THE 3RD FLOOR TO EAT THIS TERRIBLE FOOD,THEN WHEN IT STARTS TO LEAVE IT GETS SO ROCKY IN THERE I'M GUESSING IT CAN'T TAKE BIG WAVES. ANYWAY, I GOT SOO SICK AND A BUNCH OF OTHER PEOPLE 2,THE SMELL OF SEWAGE MADE IT WORSE,TOLD THE PEOPLE IN CHARGE IF THEY COULD GO BACK SINCE MOST OF THE PEOPLE ARE VOMITING ALL OVER,THEY DIDN'T CARE SO I GOT STUCK IN THERE FOR 6 HOURS. MY EXPERIENCE WAS TERRIBLE!!!!

I CAME FROM JERSEY TO VISIT MY FRIEND SO SHE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS SHIP SO WE WENT AND BOY IS WAS HORRIFIC,I AGREE WITH PETER'S COMMENT IT SMELLS DISGUSTING THE WHOLE TIME I WAS THERE, THE FOOD CAME OUT COLD AND NOT GOOD SO I ASKED THE CHEF FRED TO WARM IT UP FOR ME AND HE WAS COMPLETELY RUDE TO ME AND MY FRIEND,ALSO I TALKED TO THE CAPTAIN AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THE SHIP WAS NOT BUILT PROPERLY THAT IT CAN SINK AT ANYTIME!! OMG A DISASTER OF A PLACE.. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

The reason for the delay is that the boat cannot pump their sewage fast enough into the ocean causing a raw sewage smell on the lower deck. Also the generators cannot keep up with the power that is needed and they have already had numerous problems with losing power while at sea. The owners are trying to operate the boat as if it where Caesars Palace, but it is only a small boat that can't handle 4 foot seas without everyone getting sick onboard. Advice is to stay away until all the problems are solved, and if you do go take a lot of hand sanitizer with you.

it passed coast guard inspection a couple of weeks ago. I called 10 days ago and they said 2-3 weeks at the most. So perhaps some time in Nov?

Just like everyone else I've been itching to get on board and just like everyone else I can't get an answer for when this boat sails. I called 561-845-2559 near the end of July 2012 and got a live staff member who told me the boat would be sailing mid to late August 2012. Well here it is mid September 2012 and still no 3 hour tours. All I can say is if you call the number I used you might get an answer. Do we have a date yet for when the ship will be arriving?

What better date could the Black Diamond Gambling Boat have started then today 7-11 ( July 11th ).
My friends and I are ready ... can someone from B D give us an idea of when the boat might be ready and open for business ... and what about a bus service from Delray Beach and Boca ... will there be one ?

it would be nice if someone had some kind of information but nothing on the websites for the port or the casino.
