Never eat at the Roasters n Toasters and pay with Debit Card as they charge you card twice and do not notify customer. In addition, you call to speak to manager an Armando returns your call after about an hour when you are told he would call back in a couple of minutes. Furthermore, they do not refund the double charge for 4 to 5 days. Really bad customer service. This is not the norm in any of the other casinos in Florida and I have been to them all. If I would have been notified of this being your standard operating procedure as informed by Armando I would have paid the $4.00 charge at ATM and paid cash. Truly disgusted with service and assistance of management. I will spread the word so others do not go through the same horrific experience!!!!!
LOUSY HOUSE POKER GAMES
The Poker Games against the house (dealer) are a RIP OFF at Dania Casino.
On 3 Card Poker--you do not get paid on the Pair Plus Bet even if you get a pair unless you beat the dealer---The Seminole Classic Casino and Hard Rock Casino pay you for that pair on their Pair Plus Bet each time you get a pair or better whether or not you beat the dealer. YOU GET RIPPED OFF at the Dania Casino.
On Ultimate Texas Hold EM (another RIP OFF at Dania Casino) you do not get paid on the TRIPS Bet even if you get trips or better--instead you lose your money unless you can beat the dealer. The Seminole Classic Casino and Hard Rock Casino pays you every time for any TRIPS or better each time even if the dealer beats you. YOU GET RIPPED OFF at the Dania Casino.
The food service is horrendous and they never have any regular poker tables in action, Their promotions are a joke, You get a way better deal on promotions at The Isle or any other casino.
The place is a ghost town and its just a JOKE!!!!!
Best Casino I have found in Broward
WOW!!!!! What a place! I went for a concert last weekend and I was impressed. Before we went to the show, we ate at their restaurant. The food was incredible. Everyone from our party of 6 raved about the food. The menu was expansive. They had so many different items. The Casino itself is absolutely beautiful. They have all new machines which are clearly the loosest in town. You can definitely tell the better playing experience. I won $200!!! The concert venue was great. Perfect acoustics. On the way out of the show i stopped to play some 3 card poker. I did not know that the non-indian casinos had table games but loved playing the games. I would definitely recommend this Casino
waste of time
crappy service, no variety of games. pitiful promotions. food is horrible
Terribly run buy these 4 Argentinian Sr. Directors of operations. Hope they get bought out by an American company.
Used to be a fun place
Dania Jai-Alai used to be a lot of fun to go visit. Unfortunately, the place is now a ghost town and they are lucky if they get 100 people in there to watch the jai-alai games.
They also play live poker which I guess is the main source of income to keep the place open.
Dania Jai-Alai was bought out by Boyd Gaming (owner of Sam's Town, Coast Casinos and the old Stardust) several years ago and they were supposed to build a new facility with slot machines. However, the slots at the other three pari-mutuels in S. Florida haven't been too successful and Boyd put their plans on hold until things pick up.
I think the major problem is that the state has a 50% tax on all slot revenues and that is what is making it hard for the gaming companies to make any money.
