BadNewsBears

Slots are very, very tight. I stayed the whole night in the dollar, and big nickle area and saw nobody hit anything. Not even a cherry, or two bars. These machines are very tight and not a good gamble. Save your money for a trip to Las Vegas or, even, Biloxi but this place is just a sucker's cage. Stay away or be prepared to lose lots of money.

GET A ROOM --IN BLU TOWER

BLUE CHIP-ANOTHER INDIANA GAMBLING BOAT, ABOUT 20 MILES FROM THE MICHIGAN/INDIANA BORDER OFF I-94. ONE LEVEL GAMING, OWNED BY BOYD. GORGEOUS ROOMS IN THE NEW BLU TOWER !!! LOVED THESE ROOMS. BUFFET IS SMALL, BUT SATISFYING, NOT OVERLY PRICED. METHINKS WEDNESDAYS ARE SENIOR CITIZEN 2/1 BUFFETS. DRINKS ARE NOT FREE!! NOT AN OVERLY LARGE BOAT, SO YOU CAN EASILY FIND YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER. I LIKE THIS CASINO, HAVE HAD SOME WINNING VISITS EVEN THOUGH THE VP IS NOT FULLPAY.

The slots are ok..but you need a lot of money to stay there long. The buffet is below average..but the new hotel is very nice. They use to have slot turnaments but got rid of those...they were fun and you had a better chance of winning.

LOSE THE SHIRT OFF YOUR BACK

The slots are SO TIGHT ya almost faint from lack of ....WINNING ANYTHING !!
There are 12 people in our "casino crowd" that used to go to Blue Chip when they first opened but ever since they built the NEW casino Barge winnings have GONE to almost -0-.
Blue Chip is owned by Boyd Gaming out of Las Vegas and they are losing BIG BUCKS as a Casino group.

They have shuttered their new LV Strip construction and most of their Las Vegas Casinos are dingy and out of date.

Trying to win at any Boyd Casino playing slots is impossible. Plus Boyd/Blue Chip Comps are a joke.....you have to lose your house to get a pack of gum....The BEST overall area Casino is Four Winds in New Buffalo....their payouts are NOT GOOD...but at least they
give out merchandise to Player Club members for visiting....

Their FOOD is rated...a ...."C"...at best...EAT BEFORE YOU GO....but they have free soft drinks... and the Casino does resemble a smaller Las Vegas Casino as far as excitement and layout.

My guess is...THAT....their payout slot machine chips are 80% at the very most...YOU NEVER SEE JACKPOT'S !!!

**IF YOU WANT BEST GAMBLING EXPERIENCE......GO TO LAS VEGAS....you may not win but you will have a ball!!!!

Great for the party, horrible to gamble here!

Love to party here with usually 2 bands going on Friday and Saturday night and there is always a beer special for 2 bucks. Hotel is nice, the views aren't so nice - got a great view of the nuke tower. Never had problems with the staff, bartenders were always friendly.

As for the slots, in a nutshell, they suck..suck the money right out of your wallet. My girlfirend and I were actually laughing that the slots were worse than a cruise ship casino (and for anyone who has ever cruised before you know that is pretty darn bad!). So go there for a good party, just would not reccomend throwing a lot of cash into the casino.

worst craps tables ever

I work in the casino industry and have never seen such bad and rude dice dealers. It is bad enough that my friends and I dont win but to be told by the dealers and the boxperson that they are trying to close the table so to lose faster!!! Are you kidding!! In addition to outright call a player a flea (flea in the industry means weak and ignorant player with little or no bankroll) on a live game is outrageous. The management should be ashamed and the boxperson should be fired. On a better note the new hotel was nice but the buffet is weak at best nothing there seemed fresh!! I will not waste my money there again and suggest that other serious gamblers join in the blue chip boycott. WITH ALL THE OTHER OPTIONS CLOSE BY BLUE CHIP NEEDS TO PULL THEIR HEADS OUT OF THEIR BACKDOORS!!!

Nice place with decent games

Best buffet in Chicagoland. Great steakhose. Good rules on table games. Nice selection of slots. Slot club now linked nationwide.

Good hotel rooms, better to come with new hotel. Full pay video poker available if you look for it.

R U Serious ?

The food is decent. The hotel is ok...comparable to a economy brand with amenities. The staff here are rude, pushy, and you never see a server or slot attendant on this boat...the machines are so tight, they just eat your pocketbook alive.

Jaws ain't got nothin on this place. The only pleasant experiences I had were with the bartenders, great drinks.

Less comps and winnings

We are receiving less room offers and free play. They also have changed 90% of the penny machines to 2 cent machine to help pay for the new boat and hotel.

Go for the Four Winds at New Buffalo, MI 15 miles east.

This casino used to be decent. You could walk out with some big bucks at times. Then they tightened the slots !! Everyone talks about it that you see. Terrible casino
