I was playing blackjack recently at the $5 min table and after about 4 hrs of playing I found myself up over 3grand. The pit boss,casino mgr and another person came to my table and "froze" the table. All cards were thrown away all chips were colored up and the whole table was removed from the floor with every dealer. All new table,chips,cards and dealers were brought in and I couldn't even get a push. The dealer hit blackjack 6 times in a row. Like it states everywhere the house always wins and if they don't they will change things around so they can win.

Have been to the casino numerous times over the last several years. And am always amazed at this casino, and all casino's, continuing corporate greed in allowing the continuing deterioration of their tables games to the detriment of every one of their table game casino patrons. In specifically their blackjack game(s). This casino used to offer very fair double deck and 6 deck blackjack games, but those days have long since been part of history. Most all of us gamblers understand that the house needs to begin with an edge to operate with a profit in this kind of business. But with the current blackjack offerings at this casino I will use a football analogy to describe the overwhelming edge that the casino currently operates under with these games....Prior to 2008 if you played blackjack at this casino, it would be like playing a football game in which your team would begin down 3 points. Currently with the "newer" rules, your team would start that same game down 10 to 14 points! Come on now...please!! Shame, shame. shame. Also, has to be the smokiest casino I have ever been into in my life! Marlboro is making a killing both literally and physically at this casino. Years ago I was playing here and began a conversation with a chain smoking female who looked like her better days of health were long gone. Upon further conversation, she informed me that she had just completed her last round of chemotherapy, for treatment of lung cancer, the week prior. And here she was at a casino, on deaths doorstep, chain smoking her ass off along with other candidate for death!

Advise? NEVER play blackjack in this casino. And be prepared to suffer breathing in at least the equivalent of a pack of smokes per hour.

I have been to this casino many times over the years and have spent thousands there.My win / loss ratio has been about 15 % / 85 %. The casino is clean and well maintained. The contest winners are like the slot winners, few and far between . They have a 3 drink maximum on the casino floor.I have been cut off numerous times and did not act the least bit drunk..Tips talks.....Like the song says"so many lose , so few win ". That has been my experience at Aztar...Good Luck !

My daughter, who works full time, goes to college at night, has three children, two of which are under the age of 3 yrs, finally after securing sitters, saving money to go to Aztar, went to the concert at the hotel with her husband and friends. She has not been able to go anywhere and was so excited to go to Evansville to your casino. After the concert, she and her friends started to go to play at the casino and she was not allowed in, the man at the desk said she was drunk! She had a few beers, but she was with her friends from grade and high school and she was very excited. They fool around a lot (always have) and they were teasing each other coming down the hall by kicking at their feet. Mind you, I have seen them do this numerous times, they are so glad to be together. Anyway, she never got to go to the casino. Her husband and friends got in. It was explained to her that they didn't want her to spend her money when she had been drinking. I can tell you she didn't have that kind of money to start with and never spends over what she takes with her. Her father and I have gone to your casino numerous times through the years and dropped a lot of money there. I am very disappointed and she was heartsick to go back to the room and sit while her friends had fun. If this is the way you treat people and I can understand if they are actually drunk, then we don't want to come down anymore.

This was my first casino I have ever went to. I love this place!!!



The atmosphere was always great and people were always having a blast!. The bar right before you enter the boat always had great entertainment to get you in the mood for anything.



I only play slots and had my ups and downs there. But overall it was a great place to go and play. Drink service was always good, and their food there was great also.



Players club always sent out great offers and was always trying to get you back there, one thing I really like about this place.
