I came to Diamond Jacks on a sad note... I went for my grandmother's funeral and she hated casinos, but sadly i got the bug for them. After we had buried her in Ringgold, me and my cousin had gone downstairs to play a few games and just kinda get our mind off the funeral. Though i didn't understand most of their games, I did have a good time there watching people win and i did some winning myself. I won 70 dollars which was highly needed for gas, since 2 of my cousins that rode to the funeral with me from Missouri, did not chip in for gas. If it wasn't for the fact that it was our grandmother, I would have gone off on them and told them to kick rocks.

Anyway, the hotel was fabulous i highly recommend it and the casino area was clean and I do like their players club... they were really nice to the new people and i got to play with all sorts of nice games and lil things to win some free play. Anyways... enjoy and have a good time.

So glad I came back! I used to come here when it was the Isle of Capri. Back then I hit several jackpots. I stopped coming when other casinos arrived. I returned when someone told me they had been getting payouts on the quarter machines. Lo and behold, I returned and I got a little here and there on the quarter slots. After my bad experience at El Dorado a few weeks back, (see report on the El Dorado reviews) I began to go to DJ only. Last Friday I received a hand payout on a $1 slot. Yahoo! See El Dorado, treat your players right and they will remain loyal! Diamond Jacks Thank You!

Buffet was not as good last trip as it has been. Affordable overall.

We spent a lovely two nights at DJ's in Bossier City. The site was still under construction, and promised to have a GRAND OPENING o/a 11Aug2007.



The tables are better managed than under the previous owners, and the VP was still the same (DDP 4 aces @ $1.00) and we had good food and good service at the buffet.



The construction dust and occasional loud bang were not too distracting. All things considered: DJ's looks like a nice weekend of light dining and fun gaming.
