From Illinois, the last three years, I've been here 6 times. Just got back last week. Checked their website before I got there, and very fair comps. Was there about 3 hours on a Saturday night after a fishing tournament (couldn't stay any longer) Video Poker very good payouts, and hit a nice slot for $300!!!!! I have stayed at the hotel and it is very nice with a nice pool. I did not eat here but they have had problems with the restaurant (according to the locals) I have played the golf course last year and it is in decent shape. It's a nice place to unwind. Only had 2 blackjack tables that night, craps, roulette, and a couple of exotic card games (3 card, and something else).

Used to be a great place to go! Had great food and fantastic marketing for players, now, just a spot on the map! Give nothing or very little to customers, no entertainment, food is down the drain, management has no clue on "how to run a casino" There are so many other casinos in the area to choose from, this one will close one day for good!

Lac Vieux Desert is still my local casino of choice. They have always had friendly dealers and staff, usually low minimums on all table games, and a live band on the weekends. They by far have the best drink service and the restaurant has decent food, but nothing to write home about.

My only criticism is that they have really let their slots go, both in payout and selection. This, unfortunately, seems to be all too common with most casinos these days. I think they need to take a look back at how they had things setup back in the late 90's early 2000's and they will gain some more business back.

Lac Vieux Desert Casino is located in Watersmeet, MI near the Wisconsin/Michigan border. The name Watersmeet comes from the convergence of three watersheds in the area. This casino has to be one of the most friendliest and enjoyable places to play.

Resturant food was perfect and staff was very helpful, they would bend over backwards to help you out.



Hotel was very clean along with the pool area. Casino personnel were very nice and helped when you didn't understand the game. Lounge area entertainment was exceptional.
