I love this place
I love it here haven't hit real big; but I can go with $200 and it last for hours. Subway is no longer there. Their cafe is nice and clean food is ok (mainly what some call drunk food) I feel safe and at home here.
Not Good
This was a poor casino. You could cut the smoke that hung in the air with a knife. There was also a lack of any table games and food options. The excuse for blackjack that they offered was on an obviously rigged computer and was always occupied. The roulette simulation was also always packed. The only thing that I could even come close to complimenting this place on is the amount of slot machines, but you would still be better off going elsewhere to avoid the immense amounts of smoke.
Not bad, wish they had table games though

Middle of nowhere

Machine only casino, no tables
Must Sees- None
Not kind to Seniors
I have gone many times on Seniors day.. and only to find that they 'lay in wake' for the oldies to get there to take their money! It has gotten sooo bad my husband and I don't even make the trip anymore... it's not any fun at all to just keep putting in your 20's! Will be a long time before we go back there.
Nice place to take a break
When ever we head north, we always stop. We never stay more than a couple hours, but it's a great place to take a break from driving. Yes the parking seems terrible, but you're not walking any farther than any other casino. If you figure how far you walk when parked in a large parking garage. I've never won alot, but my theory is, it's entertainment and I don't spend more than $40 at a time. If you roll up and see the big buses, don't go in. The place will be filled with Seniors, that are quite rude, playing two or three machines at a time. I'm not sure why they don't expand, it needs to be at least twice as big as it is. I like it well enough to always stop, unlike Soaring Eagle, which is the worst casino in Michigan.
Nice Little Place in Standish
I stopped here on my back from Northern Michigan. It's a small but nice little place in Standish Michigan. They gave me $10 for my birthday and $10 for joining their players club. I used my freeplay in video poker, hit 4 of a kind, and walked away with $40 and checked out the rest of the casino.
No table games here, or hotel, but a nice selection of slots in a well laid out place. Worth a stop on your way to/from northern Michigan.

Tiny but modern Casino
This tiny little place is a stand alone casino near I-75. It has no tables, but it does have that video blackjack. There is only a subway/snack bar for food. There is a small full service bar. There is no hotel anywhere near this property. It is a worthwhile stop when they are running new sign up/bring a friend/birthday promotions, other than that not much to see here.
So so, but it is the only one in the area
Decent for going to play slots. No table games. Staff is usually pretty friendly. This place is too small, always packed. Parking is terrible, but they have opened an overflow lot and have a small shuttle. The food selection is not great, and the Subway charges double if you use your players rewards. This is a complete ripoff. I stay nearby camping, so this is a convenient place to go. If there were any other casinos close enough, I would try them instead.
Lousy Management & Parking
The Parking is terrible, not enough spots, the lines are too close together unless you drive a Yugo. A truck is way too long. I was asked to move my vehicle because I was over the line next to me. I parked dead center between two vehicles 13 hours before. I left when I had to move it after losing thousands, I was finally on a productive machine when I was told to move my truck., I did I went home. They probably saved me another thousand. If the lot is full, don't stop. The casino will shut the doors and let a few in at a time (Fire Regulations), They are very small and have tight aisles.
Service is the lousiest of any casino I have ever been in and they rarely ever smile when you ask for something and thank them. If you do get a cup of coffee, it is usually cold.
The slots are mostly pennies. Very few dollar or 5 dollar slots, compared to most casinos and they are too close together. You will be sitting on your neighbor's lap.
They have 2 (Video Poker Tables) Nothing Else. The Players Club Employees usually have a line up to 40' long, or more when the casino is busy--Plan on 20 Minutes to see them., They rarely crack a smile either.
So many of the gamers that go there are too aggrivated with the casino to talk to anyone.
NO HOTEL--Few Amenities. They claim to be going to build one, the same story for the last two years.
The only Food Available is SUBWAY or A SMALL NACHO BAR, Subway charges Double Your Credits Per Dollar For Food, and the Snack Bar is Fair if you can live on Nacho's or Hot Dogs. Not enough variety for most peoples taste, if you plan on eating, eat before you go there, YOU WON'T REGRET IT !!!
The Upper Management is TOO STUCK-UP to talk to anyone and act like you are bothering them when you ask them something. Don't bother (Find It Yourself), I do.
*** You will find me at (TURTLE CREEK, ODAWA, or KEWADIN), or LEELENAW SANDS, Not at SAGANING EAGLE LANDING ANY MORE. ***
If you want good food, go to ODAWA, if you want a friendly atmosphere and employees, go to TURTLE CREEK, If you like to win some of the time, go to KEWADIN., if you want GREAT ENTERTAINMENT (LIVE), GO TO LEELENAW SANDS. The Best Overall Combination For A Good Time Is TURTLE CREEK, Near TRAVERS CITY.
At this rate it will take Saganing Eagles Landing the next 10 years, at least, to offer all that the other casinos have and to learn how to treat their PAYING CUSTOMERS. I have left my share behind at all of them Saganing Eagle Landing Won't Even Report Their PAY-OUT Percentages To The Public...... Most Legitimate Casinos Will.
They (Are Very Good About Giving Comp Money To You--If You Spend A Lot Gambling There). The Machines are The Tightest You Will Find, Except For at Mt. Pleasant's SOARING EAGLE.
Saganing - The tiny little casino that could
I just moved up to this area from the Metro Detroit area where MGM was my casino of choice. Saganing although quite small is a cute little place to hangout and play. They have a decent selection of slot games to play. I didn't find my favorite ones there but I did find a couple new ones that I like that I hadn't seen before.
Payouts have been decent, (unlike the sister casino Soaring Eagle being the largest win I got there was $7.50). They are definitely paying out because you hear jackpot sounds going off all the time I am there. The food is basic but their service is excellent and always with a smile. No hotel but I hear there is one coming soon and hopefully they will add on to the casino at that point. All in all a good little place to entertain yourself.
not worth the trip up north

A Good Time
I had a good time but I went at 2 am and it was hard to get a drink. I went up to the bar and was handed a cold cup of coffee. Then someone came around 3 hours later. Next time they have a big event, they should have more people working. I go at least once or twice a week and its easy to get a drink. I love that about this place. Last night was a small let down.
Its Okay... Better than nothing.
The only time I have ever won good was around 3-5 AM when I was the only one there... The Subway is open 24/7 there.
The card tables are all electronic as is the roulette wheel. But if you want a better casino, go to the Upper Pensulia.
