Buffet has declined recently

I noticed the last time I ate at the buffet that there had been a noticeable cut back in both number of items and quality. I used to really look forward to the sushi but it was gone as was a number of the selections. In addition, the barbeque seemed to have changed. It was always tender and juicy but seemed too dried up and not fresh. I may have hit on a bad day, but several others commented that it was not what it used to be. And the desserts seemed to have gone green, there were grapes, apples, etc. and no chocolate. If I wanted healthy, I'd go to a gym! I've never done too well gambling at this casino but you can' win everywhere.

Liked it very much

Just passing through so we did not stay at the hotel. First time at a Harrah's so the players club system was strange to us but seemed OK. They gave us a free buffet which while not as extravagant as some in Vegas, the food quality and flavor was as better than anything I have tried in Vegas including Planet Hollywood (highly rated) and any of the various MGM hotels in Vegas. If I were a local, I would come here to eat often.

Nice casino, wait staff seemed pretty decent to me. I think the video poker was OK compared to Vegas as most of those pay tables are down these days as well.

Only stayed a short while, but will come here over the Indian Casinos in OK even though the drive is an hour further each way. Look forward to going back and staying a night in the hotel.

Good blackjack and craps, bad video poker

Go here if you like to play blackjack and craps, but avoid it if you are a video poker player.

Horseshoe has one of the best single-deck blackjack games in Tunica. They allow doubling down on any two cards and resplitting of any pair (including aces) which results in a casino advantage of just .15%

They? offer 100X odds on craps, the highest in Tunica, all other casinos only offer 20X odds.? They also pay triple (rather than double) on 12 in the field, which cuts the house edge on this bet in half from 5.6 percent to 2.8 percent.

The vide poker, however, is all terrible. Very low paytables.

Hemroid

A large casino for the area. Has good seclection of slots & poker machines, plus good selection of table games. The live poker room is in good location.

Has a very good buffet. My only gripe is that it can be a long walk to the hotel rooms. Also, the view from most rooms is bad. Within walking distance (75 Ft.) to the Gold Strike & Sheraton.
