Newly renovated rooms
We have stayed at Boulder Station a few times and visit to play video poker even when staying elsewhere. We have not stayed there since the rooms were renovated in late 2011, but they were previously very clean and tastefully decorated. This is the second oldest of the Station Casinos scattered across the valley.
Hotel
The rooms are of average size and quality and well maintained. The clientele is primarily locals, blue collar workers and retirees. The reason we no longer stay there is the excessive resort fee of the $12.99 per night. The pool sees few visitors as it is ridiculously small.

Boulder Station
We have stayed at the Boulder Station Casino when they sent us a free room offer in the past. They also send us 2 for 1 coupons
for the buffet in the mail. Earlier this year I entered a contest on their Facebook page and won buffets for 2.
Temporary buffet price decrease
Until further notice all specialty nights are discontinued and prices (with a players card) are $4.99/$6.99/$9.99.
think great place
I'm frugal in expenses when I go to Vegas so Boulder fits my budget. I usually play enough to eat at buffet for day. Full pay machine comps not that good, but they are ones over 100 percent and table games start at 3 dollars so I fit right in.
Food ok in buffet and other restaurants off floor including a Burger King and a Subway and there is a Starbucks. Pool is small, rooms are quiet, but not greatly lit. Overall, I think it's an awesome place to stay and staff is friendly.

Good Budget Choice
We have stayed numerous times at Boulder Station due to the low cost rooms, video poker and restaurant choices.
Rooms are slightly above average and there is a guard checking IDs until early in the morning.
On the negative side the lighting in the room is poor for reading and the points awarded on the full pay machines are laughable.
I can recommend the Broiler and Guadalajara restaurants. Rooms are inexpensive though tend to be too high on weekends.
