We visited the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino earlier this year to use the free dinner for 2 prize that I had won from this ACG website. We ate at the Mr. Lucky 24/7 Restaurant and had no problems using the food voucher. Since the voucher was for up to $75 we ordered several Chinese dishes and a sandwich to go. One of the dishes was way too salty to eat so we complained. The waiter immediately offered to replace the dish so we ordered another sandwich to go. He was very good to us. While in the casino we ran into a glass showcase filled with Beatle memorabilia. We just had to take videos and photos of it.

Great collection of Rock and Roll memoribelia, fantastic concerts at "The Joint", smaller venue with good acoustics, not a bad seat in the house. Casino is populated by a younger "monied" crowd, no cheap gambling here. Haven't stayed here so I can't comment on the rooms. Legendary pool area.Good steak and shrimp special in the coffee shop restaraunt, not on the menu, just ask the waitress. Not too far from the strip, take a cab or drive.

The reason I rated the Hard Rock so low is that on my many visits to LAS VEGAS, I have never stayed or played there. My
husband always goes there to buy pins for himself, grandson & son-in-law. We also buy t-shirts. We have eaten at many
of the cafes across the country and even out of the country. Once they have a casino on the strip I will play there.

This WAS my favorite place to go in Vegas for many years. I use to go to The Hard Rock when it was cool, and hip. Now it is old, and older! I am a big gambler, and was treated so well by my host who is no longer there by the way. My crew use to play up in the old PeaCock Lounge, and have a hell of a weekend, but now the dealers are too old, waitresses are too fat, and the restaurants are just plain lame with the exception of NOBU. What happened to this place? I asked a blackjack dealer what happened to this place, and he told me, "I'm moving to Florida bro, this place is full of idiots." We now go to The Cosmo where there are hot chicks all over, young people working there, and great places to eat. Did I mention the pool life? Rehab was a trend starter for Vegas, and now it is where all the flunkies go. If you want great service, hot chicks, and great food go The Cosmo.

I've only been in maybe 15 casinos in various states and countries but I'll say this is my favorite overall place to hangout at. Now let me say I'm not a 20-something with Ed Hardy clothes on. Nor am I some Jersey Shore type dude either.
But if you like rock music and a rock n roll environment this is your place.
Good loud rock music, cocktail girls with short skirts and ample free drinks, and attractive young people to gamble with pretty much sums this place up.
The slot selection is good and they keep up with the latest games. Historically I've done ok there. They have a better ROI than the strip slots and it's super easy to get free drinks while playing.
Table games are pretty standard. 5 dollar mins on slow nights and weekdays. 10 other times. They also have Ultimate Texas Hold 'em which is nice.
The sports book is new and a cathedral to sports betting. No more free drinks though. Not cool. Can't smoke in the book either.
Mr Luckys is great and the gamblers special is a personal favorite.
I haven't stayed at the hotel or been at the pool. I'm too old for the Rehab crowd at this point.
All in all this place is the bomb.

It was so loud with the rock music that we couldn't talk to each other. We had a good lunch, but I won't go there again.

We re-visited the Hardrock Hotel and Casino earlier this year and discovered that it had been re-modeled. It was still too noisy for us. Walking around the casino you get to see memorabilia of rock stars of the past and present.

Don't think casino. Think museum. Walking the circle of displays and poking in corners and off circle corridors you can see as much memorabilia that a visit to the Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will compare in quality and balance what it can not match in quantity. You can photograph the displays as well. If you like seeing guitars used by famous rock musicians, this is the place. American Casino Guide coupons are only a deal now for newbies, but if you don't have a card, they give you $10 of freeplay and a $10 matchplay. My son hit for $80 on his freeplay.
It is a short walk North from Flamingo, or the 108 will deliver you closer if you catch it from downtown going South. I get off the bus there and then walk up to Terribles.
There are some good food specials at Mr. Lucky's including a nice graveyard steak and eggs special from midnight until 6am.
On Sundays the Rehab Pool parties attract some very pretty young girls. So if you are young and like to party, this is one of the wildest places for a pool party.
I am not attracted to the gambling there. I found the live poker rather difficult.
And for a while folks were complaining of being stopped when they wanted to bring food, like a pizza, to their room from sources outside the casino. That seemed a needlessly silly rule.
Across the street is the fairly new Rumor suites and some visitors who want to be close to the Hard Rock, but away from the noise of a casino choose a suite in this Boutique hotel. Prices are often affordable. The pool at Rumor is open 24/7.

The Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas is one of my favorite places to hang out. Along with the Palms, it skews towards a younger, more hip demographic. Though I'm neither, I still enjoy the party atmosphere and great Rock n Roll music.



Off the strip, the Hard Rock is easy to get to; I always park in the ample parking garage... but if you're a tourist then take a taxi. I wouldn't recommend walking there after dark. The Hard Rock has everything - food, gambling, music, nightclub, kick-ass pool -- so if you're just visiting for a weekend and want to party then just stay at the Hard Rock!



The concert venue was just remodelled and now boasts an all-star lineup to kick it off: Paul McCartney, Avenged Sevenfold, Bon Jovi... to name a few. And now Santana is the resident musician, performing several shows a week for the next 4 months! Tickets prices are a bit on the steep side, but how often do you visit Vegas? Indulge.



My favorite nachos of all-time are made at Pink Taco, the cool Mexican restaurant. They also make great appetizers and have an extensive tequila selection. The best time to visit is during Cinco de Taco -- the 5th of each month they have a live Mariachi band, and great half off deals on apps, beers, and Sauzo shots.



In addition to Pink Taco, there are great happy hour deals to be had at the Center Bar... which is located in the center of the casino floor. I'm not a huge fan of the slots, but the table games are a blast to play at Hard Rock. A really cool game is their version of blackjack, where if you bust, you can still win at a poker hand. The cocktail waitresses are some of the best in the biz and are attentive to all your alcoholic needs.



As for nightlife, Body English and Wasted Space are some of the better nightclubs in Vegas. But the best times are to be had at the pool. Hard Rock throws the notorious Rehab pool party. A must-see for any young vacationer.



On a personal note, I visit Hard Rock at least once a week during football season as they have a great promotion. You can get one free parlay card a week - pick anywhere from 4-7 games and win up to $400 bucks! Not a bad deal.



If you're under the age of 40 and want to party like a rock star, then Hard Rock should be on your list of places to visit in Vegas (along with the Palms, Planet Hollywood, Red Rock Casino, and Rio).

Hip and energetic. The center bar is active and interesting. Probably the best bar for any of the major casinos.

Gambling is fair, but the environment and visuals are great. The are also expading at this casino. Smallish now, but growing. Check it out....it's worth a stop for a drink at the center bar (stop in after 9:00PM).

Restaurants are a little expensive but great fun place and decent games to play. Good mailings and offers.

A very lively atmosphere. This casino caters to a young crowd but baby boomers should also be comfortable given the rock and roll memorabilia and music.

The sports book is small but comfortable. The tables offer decent odds and they have decent, but not great, video poker.

I don't like their slot club because of frequent changes in the club in the past. I have never stayed at the hotel.

Visited 7/8/08 and 7/9/08. Did good at roulette. Won a $50 gift card to AGO with card points. AGO wasn't as good as people make it out to be. Very expensive and out of my league.



The stores sell overpriced items to skinny people. The souvenir T-shirt's wouldn't fit any one larger than a size 8 probably.



Self parking was easy.

They say the pool is the place to be on sundays. One of the younger crowds casino.

The Hard Rock is one of the more popular "off Strip" casinos. The casino itself is of modest size and seems to put an emphasis on their table games.



The circular design of the casino allows one to circle the action. There are a large number of Rock & Roll memorabilia spread throughout the grounds. These range from gold records from various artists to guitars and clothing used in popular videos.



The sandy shore beach type pool and cabana area is a hot spot during the summer.
