The fact that Harrah's is one of the best places in Laughlin says more about your other choices here, than about Harrah's. On the plus side, this is a Harrah's property, so the rooms are clean, the mechanicals in the room work, plenty of slots on the floor, and a big, and busy buffet. But, on the negative side, this is like any other Harrah's property you have ever visited...there is nothing here that makes this place special. No real theme here, the same slots, and nothing that really makes this place memorable. Also, given the difficulties that the Laughlin market has had in the past few years, it is surprising that the rooms are as expensive as they are.

You won't go wrong here, but if you are staying here for a night on your way to somewhere else, you won't remember this place after 24 hours.

Stayed there this past summer of 09 and got a room with a definite mold problem in the family tower. We were given another room that was again sub-standard. Maybe it was just the family tower but having stayed at many other Harrah's properties (and being a diamond level card carrier,) this was at best poorly kept! To Harrah's credit the staff did understand and tried to accommodate us but was far from able to make things right.

Harrah's in Laughlin has always been our favorite Laughlin casino. Although the number of slot machines & video poker machines has been reduced in recent years ( trend we've seen in most ALL casinos).



Harrah's still offers a nice variety of machines along with the newest released games. My wife loves the Pai Gow Poker and their NON-Smoking casino. The buffet is easily the best in Laughlin and is extra large to allow quick service with a min. time in line (even on a Holiday of Friday night).
