My old favorite
I've been going to this casino since it was The Stateline. Have always had pretty good luck, but the rooms are a bit old and the food leaves something to be desired. I still love it.
The old State Line
I visited this last weekend April 2010. The place is run down due to lack of maintenance. The room I got had holes in the carpet, drapes, stained floors, mold in the shower and lots of it and basically was like a run down Motel 6. Too bad because the outside is decent but it appears that lack of maintenance has taken its toll.
The slots were tight as hell, good luck on breaking even. Cocktail waitress wearing bordello type uniforms and the dealers, the worst in Nevada imo were just as unfriendly as always.
Always a pleasant place if you have absolutely no other place to go in the small town. The buffet was one of the worst I have been to, the food was not only old, dry and flavorless, but looks like it was left from a week ago. Seriously people, get it together. I would steer clear even if you get comped.
the nugget
This casino has some good machines, with friendly 21 dealers.
The Casino is clean, but the card comps were slow, long lines.
I would go again.
