When I go into a casino my only expectation is to have some fun on some fun slots. I understand and accept that I might not come home with the money I walked in with or I might come home with an extra few bucks. But really I just want to play. But when I put $20 to $60 into a machine and I don't even get the bonus or the gimmick or the free spins one time.... I am NOT having fun! Chances are if I win and walk away with an extra hundred I'm going to give it back to the casino before I make it to the front door. So my most recent experiences with FL have left me, to put it bluntly, pissed. I played a number of machines thinking sooner or later I would hit one and get some play. Give me the gimmick, the frogs, the pigs, the dice, whatever and more than a couple bucks win on a penny machine and I'm happy to sit there and play until I usually play it away but I've had a good time. Loosen up those machines and let people have some fun. I'm done with FL for a long time.

First of all, only a fool would walk into a small casino like finger lakes with $500 or more. I have never walked into that place with more than $150. I be damn if I let them take my hard earned money. I'm pretty sure most of you can't afford it. Some of you have a serious addiction and know it. FL is an enjoyment for me....win or lose. I have heard of one man losing life savings of $1,000,000 in that place and others losing thousands a month. I only pray that I could be blessed with that kind of money and it damn sure wouldn't go to a casino. Stop complaining and get help because some of you really need it.

I can tell you exactly what I feel about the place. I'd say the only good thing is it's closer than the Indian casinos which I like a lot more. Where do I start? Winners. Do you notice how they have a lot of progressive machines. Lots of money to be made with those style machines and I don't mean the customer. My entire family likes gaming and I can't tell you one person who has won anything big there. Sure they have a few people win big on one or two machines and the rest are closed. They have taken just about every free thing away from you. Buffets, Sure they get you to go there for a free pillow or an appliance no one really uses (and we run) or give you free play that you never can win a dime with but at the end you know you will try your luck and play a few hundred. I played $300 this past weekend and didn't get a dime. I tried all kinds of machines and not one paid over $5. They need an Indian casino in Rochester to give them hell. I honestly don't see the wow in the buffet. The prime rib is hard and dry and no flavor. The sides and rest of the food are all right out of a can. I'm getting really tired of FL. They just don't let people win. The points are a shame. I have over 5,000 points and can't get a thing in that store. Just another appliance they gave out for free or a jacket to advertise the place. Do you know what it takes to get those kind of points? I asked them why they don't have an actual gift shop with various kinds of goods. They said they have contracts with certain places. They are basically a Big Lots. Discontinued or blemished items. If I was playing at Seneca like I play at FL I would have had a lot of freebies like concerts, food, hotel, and real money at a real gift shop with quality items. I'm tired to giving my money to them. I'm done with FL.

Biggest disappointment- alcoholic drinks are$$$-pretty cheap of them. Served myself at the bar and left no tip.
Slots very tight and set up that way. Found game pays different there than at Seneca or Casino Niagara, tighter of course.
Buffet was typical but nothing to rave about. Rewards a joke.

Comfort Inn across the road was a great place, good service and value, clean, great continental breakfast.
Will not likely return unless we are passing and bored.

I Really like playing slots , I played all year of 2010 and lost a lot of money ... But at finger lakes after 1 year of going and the past 2 weeks of 2011 I have went I seem to lose every time ... I don't expect to win but It seems like it is so hard to hit on these machines ... I want to have fun but go through money soo fast and rarely get bonus to have fun with .. I can see hitting bonus more so you can keep playing for a while but it never happens there .... I seemed to have a little more luck at Batavia downs .. But since its the New Year and I went to finger lakes 2 times already this 2011 and Lost .. I think I am now done with finger lakes I cant ever have fun there its sad, I tried to give them so many chances to have a good time ... but taking my money every time is not fun anymore ... it sucks I liked playing .. but oh well , Good Luck to everyone who keeps trying I'm done giving finger lake chances to have a good time and win for once lol

My wife and I visit Finger Lakes on a regular basis. We always have a good time. Place can get very busy no matter what day of the week it is. Buffet is the best of any Casinos in NY or Canada. We win and lose, about even I'd say. We only play the penny slots, as most people do. I don't understand why they have the $5.00 and up machines, no one is ever at them. All in all I really like this Casino.

This place is only a 20 min. drive for us. When we first started going there we played less than a "buck a pop" on most of the machines. I've found that the "greedier I get the more I loose." The payback is pretty tight most of the time, but if you learn to restrain yourself, you can have an enjoyable time without going broke.

The promotions seem to favor those with the most points, but that should be expected. We go there several times a week and are still not headed for the poor house.

The staff are all friendly and helpful. The Buffet is the best of any of the State run Racino's Ive seen. The entire facility is getting a new look and updating. Overall, Fingerlakes is a good place to spend an afternoon or evening.

If they built a senior housing complex on the front lawn it would probably be the most successful business in the area.

See you on the gaming floor....

I have been here a lot of times and it seems the only people that win there are the big, big players.

I have spent $500 at a crack and nothing. Your odds are better at Senaca, NY.

This place really SUCKS! I have been there about 20 times and lost anywhere from $200 to $800 each time. I have never came out of there ahead.

These NY State run casinos are the biggest RIPOFF to everyone who goes to them. If you want more paying action, I suggest you go to a real Casino like Turning Stone or The Seneca Casino in Niagara Falls, NY.

I won't bother wasting any more time or my hard earned money at this place!
