People should unite to boycott this place

I went to this place after over a 6 months. Still is the same if not worse. This man was playing a slot machine game and was making $1 bet at each hit. After losing over $37 without even one penny win, he got a bonus and guess how much this $1 bonus paid? You guessed it only $1.25. He said these people are bad and walked away. I suggest all who play in this casino quite going there for at least 3 months. Go to some other place and let these people know how bad they are. I did you can do it too. I am going to go back in another 6 months and if still this bad will stay away longer. Good news is the place was empty hahaha

Too many "promotions"

Riverwind Casino was a great place to have fun when it first opened. The slots were not real tight but not real loose either, yet it was fun. The atmosphere was good and you could have a good time for your entertainment expense. The Willows buffet put on a very good spread with lots of variety and many deserts. Showplace Theater had big name entertainers frequently. About a year and a half ago things went south. I suspect a change in management. They started promotions weekly with almost daily lures that were a joke. Drawings were supposed to be on points earned. My wife and I played from 9am till 8pm and earned a tremendous amount of points, yet I saw people come in and their names would be called shortly after they began playing. Our names were never called And that was only one of several "promotions" we participated in and the results were the same -names never called. Perhaps if they didn't waste so much time and money on phony rip-off promotions they could put those resources into the slots payouts Willows buffet has gone to pot - no pun attended. The food is totally lousy now. Showplace Theater doesn't book many big entertainers anymore. Even the staff complains about the management of that place to customers - I have heard it from several employees. Greed has taken over Neverwin. My advice - don't waste your dollars in a place that only wants to bleed you for evert penny they can

Avoid this place

I used to go to River wind with my friends, have a drink or two, play the machines and had lots of fun. Sometimes win and sometimes lose. All and all we had fun. I do not know what happened a few months ago, probably owners' greed, or they thought whatever crap they drop on customers we would come back. So they lowered the payouts to almost ZERO. I remember machines would be lying on the floor in the morning and someone be messing with inside it and later I would play that machine and it would be completely dead. I got fed up and decided my money my choice. Now I go to casinos other than Chickasha. I go to the Grand or Sac & Fox, or Lucky Star. Grand has been good so far. I enjoy my time. Although I have not won big but have not lost big like I did at River wind either. Now my money lasts. My ADVICE DO NOT PLAY AT CHICASHA CASINOS. Go outside Norman to other casinos. You may find it more enjoyable. Why reward people who assume you are a lamb.
In any other place businesses fight with each other to earn your money, at Chickasha Nation gambling houses they fight with you to make sure others get your business.

They spend thousands of dollars on advertisement to get you into their casinos, but they save a crummy $20 incentives on Saturdays so you go to other casinos that have incentives on Saturdays. They give you a faulty $100 as a new member but then they work very hard to make you not to come back. If they had any business sense other than greed, which I doubt they do, they would loosen their machines and bring back a bigger incentive for Saturdays ( More than a $20 ) and treat the customers with respect. This would bring more people than a woman calling the place "simply the best" on TV hahaha. They do not even know their customers' gender or age. If they had any sense they would spend the advertising money on making us their best advocate while we are there and we would be their advertising machines which would get them more revenues. But do you think they know this,? I doubt it. They are too stupid and too greedy to even think of this. Las Vegas is the simple example of what I just proposed and Los Vegas advertises its payouts and is still standing and growing. So have some reservations toward people who take you as fools.

NEVERWIN, GREEDYWIND, what is there more to say

I come here once every few months to check for new games (no new games, the games are 1 year behind vegas), and the slots are as tight as always. I can never win, min bet or max bet, the slots just suck you dry. I think the slot tournaments are rigged. I was there twice, and both times the SAME lady won 1st place. And the same bunch of people made it to the finals both times. If tournaments are rigged, it is very likely that the drawings are rigged too. I think I also saw evidence that some slots are reset (from game stats), meaning that all the money that has been put into the machine are gone. If you want to play slots in OKC, avoid the chickasaw casinos, go to the casinos that are a few minutes outside of OKC.

never again step inot this place

The place is smelly. Management is rude. Machines are incredibly tight, Food is tasteless and expensive, Music is extra loud and specially the Saturday night that I was there both the band and the taped music were mixed and made it so annoying that you did not want to be there. Usually when I come to Oklahoma which is twice a week I go to the "Grand" and always have fun and although I lose I also win at times. Basically I have fun with my money. At Riverwind machines were extremely ruthless. No matter how much you put in the hungry owners pocket they wanted more. I will never ever come to this casino again. Not until I really know they have loosened their machines to a decent payout. I will advise my friends to do the same.

I went to this place last Tuesday to pick up a friend. the place was dead and most parts of it was dark because they had turned the lights off to save money :). my friend had lost his weekly paycheck in about 2 hours on a machine called cool catz playing $1.25 she said she got 2 free spins while putting $380 in the machine and the 2 free spins gaive her only $17.50 all together which she put it back in the machine. I was happy that I quit going to this nasty place about 6 months ago and have saved 100s of dollers since.

horrible palce

Went to this place on Tuesday while visiting my sister in Norman. Played moneybag lost over $300 less than 20 minutes. Then went to Phoenix and played $.40 and $1 and lost $200 in 30 minutes. I asked this woman who said she plays there from time to time why this place is so empty. She said, 2 years ago this place was crowded and a happy place to be in, but now it is like a ghost town on weekdays and a little busy on weekends. She said she has lost a lot in this casino so she only comes when they give some incentives. I told myself "Sam, $500 has taught you a valuable lesson of not stepping foot in this place again", and tell everyone to stay away from Chickasha casinos. Go to others for a better luck. These owners have planned to take as much money as they can from you and do not care if you come back or not. In addition, since no government agency is monitoring the place they do what they can with their customers. So I call it rootles business that has no sense of compassion and value for its customers.

Their greed has completely folded in on itself

Just don't go and maybe if everyone does this they will dry up and leave... worst thing to ever happen to Norman or OK for that matter. It is zero fun anymore. Their greed has blinded them to the point that they just dont care that every review about them is horrible. The slots are barely playable in many cases.... buttons broken, card reader not working... will take your money and then cant print a ticket so you have to wait for someone to walk by.... if you are using their card, the card reader will quit recognizing it after a minute or two, and then quit applying points to your account.... this happens on every single machine! If you are lucky enough to get a bonus round on one of their machines, which is extremely rare, the result of the bonus round will likely be a dollar or 2 literally every time. I actually had an employee standing by me while playing a game and commenting how ridiculous their gaming was that every spin was a losing spin every time and they laughed at me! Really?

near miss

Did you know that there is a feature called "near-miss" feature, which do not directly affect the odds of the game but lure players into playing longer. example where a slot machine would line up two 7s on the pay line and have the third 7 settle below the pay line making people think they were close to winning. Those kind of results are programmed into the machines on purpose. To make the customer feel as though they came very close to getting a jackpot and that perhaps the next one or the next one, would be ready to deliver? IGT does not do the near miss programming in their machines (so they say) but the machines purchased from other countries like China, Japan etc do.

This is illegal in all parts of the country like Nevada, Atlantic City..but no one is auditing the Indian gaming so go figure all these complains about Chickasha casinos not paying out and drowning people in gambling looses.

Stopped going to this nasty place

My one friend still goes to this nasty place every weekend. She says the place is like a ghost town. Not many come there and the music is terrible on weekends. I think Oklahomans are becoming smarter for not being a sucker for this tribe. a few months ago I talked to Oklahoma gaming commissioner and asked him why the state did not required the Indian casinos publish their pay outs, he said, the state was under impression that there would be a competition between tribes and their pay out would be high. But apparently the Indian casino owners got together and conspired to keep the payout low in their casinos. The commissioner said Oklahomans have another chance in 2020 to either close the casino doors or demand pay out rates. So until then stay away from Chickasha casinos.

I have solved Riverwind's problem

One potential growth sector the Oklahoma gaming industry could explore is opening up Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs) on-site of the Chickasha nation's casinos. With direct deposit of the residents' Social Security checks into the player's account at these casinos. Riverwind and NewCastle can not only entertain seniors whose children are too busy or too uninterested in taking care of their elderly parents, but they can also take on the full responsibility of caring for their core patrons. Bedside river wind can also install machines in hospice rooms so that bedridden, immobile patrons are no longer disenfranchised from the action. All in all, its a win-win for society.

why You Should Never Ever Set Foot In An Indian Ca

One of my recent favorite gambling books is Beat The Players by Las Vegas attorney Bob Nersesian, whose schtick is suing Nevada casinos that have committed outrageous torts against patrons. I recently heard of an incident that happened at a California Indian casino that is similar to many of the incidents in Nersesian's book:

A casino player is 86ed from the casino and told not to come back. The casino's marketing department nonetheless sends him mailers inviting him back, which legally vitiates the ban. But the hapless player is dragged from his slot machine, is carried into the back room, roughed up, his winning slot tickets confiscated. He is then turned over to the real cops who arrest him for trespassing.

In any other place except an Indian casino, the patron might have a good lawsuit for false arrest, false imprisonment, battery, conversion, etc. Or he might lose in court. But Indian tribes, and their commercial operations including casinos, are sovereign entities under the law. They can't be sued, except in their own tribal courts. They regulate their own games, and the state gaming commission cannot inspect them. If an Indian casino security guard were to unholster his weapon and shoot you dead, while he might possibly be subject to prosecution by the authorities, you still wouldn't be able to sue.

The U.S. Supreme Court has opined that Indian tribal sovereign immunity is an accident of legal precedent, not unlike organized baseball's antitrust exemption, but it will be up to Congress to overturn it. Of course, the vast amount of money that the tribes contribute to political campaigns ensures this will never happen.

I Stopped Going Here

If there was a ranking below ZERO, this place deserved it. It is funny that the casino owners are so stupid and greedy they do not care what you think of them they are like Vulture continue to feed on your remains. This place is not like other casinos to entertain you while take some of your money. The payout is almost zero here. I believe the machines are remotely controlled. If you are new to a machine they will allow the machine to pay you enough to hook you to that particular machine and then they start taking your money.. This is so bizarre. My sister put $300 in one of their machines a few nights ago that claimed will give over some hundred free spins, and played $.90 a hit and sometimes $1.5 per hit and lost all $300 in less than 35 minutes. At one point she got 54 free spins and the 54 free spins gave her $0.38. That is the truth. The woman sitting beside us said she had put $700 so far with no return. I was thinking the reason they do not go from one machine to another is that none pays. I stopped playing a few months ago and actually do not enjoy even thinking about playing there just go with sister and watch her lose her money which she is going less and less. I hope they close the doors of this place soon and I am sure many wish the same. If not anyone believes how horrible this place is they can go and experience it for themselves and let everyone know if I was correct.

YUK!

Husband and I were in OKC for the Memorial Marathon and saw a promo for Riverwind; earn 20 points get $20 matchplay. Everywhere we play in Oklahoma 20 points means $20. NOT HERE. I played $56 and got FOUR points. My husband played $105 and got SEVEN points. We visted the player's club to see WHAT GIVES? The attendant on duty said each machine grants points differently and we must have been playing progressives which don't give many points. We both told her "no" we are penny slot players. She just shrugged and said that's all I can say.
Dear Riverwind: Be honest. Truth in Advertising is important to your customer. If it is really a play $200, get $20 promo, then say so. Then your customer can make an informed decision about their level of committment to play. If not dishonest, then this practice is at lease grossly misleading. The old adage of a satisfied customer tells one or two people about their experience, but a dissatisfied customer will tell a hundred is true. We will not return.

Last time I went I turned $100 into $15 at minimum bet.
This time $50 One single bonus paying zero $$$ not a penny.

Took me longer to drive there than I got to play.

It is my opinion Riverwind wants you to walk in the
Front door, hand the money to the closest employee and
Leave. They don't want you sitting down using their electric
and taking up their space.

Used to be a fun place now it's self inflicted torture. If getting

NEVER WIN the worst so called casino

When you play AT NEVERWIN You depart from your hard earned money before you say Chickasha nation.. I saw this woman playing $5 a hit on a cool catz machine. As soon as machine gave her some money, IT went dry. She CASHED OUT OVER $3000 from the ATM and put them all into these machines It FELT like someone is controlling her machine. This other WOMAN was playing Royal reels $2.5 a hit. After she lost over $100, she got a free spin and the spin gave her only $1.20. I SAW as soon as she win something machine froze and a sign comes on sayings "machine is paying" After a minute or so machine starts to work but never give anything again. No one is auditing these people and there is no mercy on the owner's part. This place was suppose to be an entertainment but ended up to be a huge source of free money for this nation. As our pockets dry up they buy more places and our money is being used by this nation to purchase all of Oklahoma.

Expect To Lose

Expect to lose if you play at Riverwind. I have noticed that only the high roller machines payout these days. Stealing from the poor and giving it to the wealthy. If you expect to lose you won't be dissatisfied. They used to play fair and it used to be fun to play at Riverwind. That isn't the case anymore. The quarter machines don't even play enough to keep you interested. One thing for sure is that with all of the empty seats you have your choice of machines.

buying oklahoma

River wind is ripping off people, using our money, and buying all of the attraction places in Oklahoma. First they bought Remington now they bought the BRICKTOWN Ballpark. Just wait till they auction out your houses because you are lured to their casinos with empty promises and dried machines and you full their pockets.

Never win there

Me and my husband have been there and my mother in law a few times and it is the worst place of all casinos I've been to and Ive been to alot. We could'nt win anything there, every time we've been there we walked out broke. I will never go back there again. You would think all the money this place brings in Riverwind would at least pay out a tad bit. I guess this is great for them they don't have to tell anyone how much they pay out. There is no law in Oklahoma that says any casinos have to show what they pay out. Which I believe is wrong, there should be some law saying they have to pay so much out a year. So everyone that is walking into Oklahoma casinos is playing blind to what the casinos are paying out at. I will tell you this much I will not be going back to Riverwind Casino ever.

I don't like the place

Riverwind is close to my home and I have played there a lot. It has been a long time since this casino has had even decent payouts on their slot machines. Spin after spin after spin with no results. They are taking the fun out of playing their slot machines. They used to have good business with lots of players but now it seems that everyone is staying away from Riverwind and Newcastle Gaming.

DO NOT ENTER

You will lose your money if you play in this casino. Nobody is winning these days. Machines are set up for very lo payouts. This is a Chickasaw Tribe Casino and none of their casinos payout anything. The other casino is Newcastle Gaming Center. The atmosphere in both of these casinos is terrible. The only people that are smiling are the managers. The last two times I went to either of these casinos nobody was even playing their machines. That is how bad it is. The Chickasaws are on the take these days and they have been for several months. The only people who are supporting them are the elderly people and they are getting ripped off big time.

Truly a NeverWin

I've been going to this casino occasionally... I win some but lose a lot... My wife likes it because of the high ceiling and cleaner air (compared to other ok casino)

I'd rather go to Newcastle or Kikapoo -although lacking the luxuries of neverwin or firelakes- but at least you get to play longer and maybe leave with some winning, sometimes big ones.

Again, I don't like neverwin mostly because I always loose... the only exception, is on Valentines day I won a 600.00 on an .80 bet. and that has been the biggest win ever, even on those "lucky" days when I get a bonus on a much higher bet. All in all, I would only go to neverwin to make my wife happy but i keep my money in my wallet and watch her give hers away.

Never expect to win at NEVERWIN

I have been four times and odds would have it that I would win something on at least one out of four trips. This is not the case. I lost each and every time and it was very frustrating. My girlfriend has also gone multiple times and NEVER WON. If you go here you will lose your money, that I can guarantee.

Good atmosphere, bad gaming

This Casino is a great place to see. Food is ok and hotel is nice, however the gaming has much to be desired. Typical Vegas slots payback 95-98%. They bleed you dry over an extended period, so you can order more drinks. These slots bleed you dry quickly by not paying you small wins. You are drained very quickly. This casino receives a large amount of business from the OKC area.
The people from this area that want to gamble in a relatively smoke free environment are limited to this casino. Oklahoma has no law regarding slot payouts. The casinos can set them to any level they wish. I do hope that the tribes realize that they can still make money and make reasonable payouts. This will make everyone happy.

Never Win is appropriate

I play regularly and go there occasionally because it's less smoky, but have found the common reference to this casino of "NeverWin" to be accurate. At other casinos you hear winners being announced, screams of excitement and high fives by patrons, but I've never seen that here. The cashiers have even been rude in the past as if you're a bother. At Remington, Newcastle, Kickapoo, etc., I've never experienced that. I've won hundreds at a time elsewhere playing under $1.00 a spin, but never anything over a hundred dollars at Riverwind. And even small bonuses when I bet bigger.

neverwin

The machines are extremely tight. The owners of the casino are greedy and as long as they can strip you out of your money, they are satisfied and do not care. I lost a lot and quit playing. Now I just accompany friends who still have some money left and watch them lose. I noticed if you win a little and let it stay in the machine, someone would trigger something that you will lose it back. so if you win anything over $10 take it out. Drawings are mostly called for people who are not there. I had a friend whose name was called weeks in a row even though he was sick at home. I hope the management wakes up and realizes that being known as a greedy casino is not a good thing. They eventually will have to close their doors. Try to take the 7-10 percent profit and advertise your return rate then you will make more profit. Money hungry never helped other casinos and will not help never win either.
