Nice little Casino, Enjoyed playing here.

After reading the reviews, I was not expecting much from this casino. I was surprised when I arrived. The casino is small, but very clean and well kept. I was here Friday and Saturday night and the parking lot was never over half full.

All the slots and video poker that you could want. The only table games were Blackjack, 2 double decks out of a shoe and a 6 deck table. The dealers and pit bosses knew my name right away, the pit bosses came over often and asked how thing were going at the table.

The casino is 30 minutes away from Crater Lake. The Casino is lacking a Bar and Hotel. The Buffet was OK. They do not offer Poker, but talk to the locals at the table, there is a town nearby that has Poker. Overall, I was in the area and had a good time here.

Are We There Yet?

You have to be really desperate to go here. Not that you have a lot of choices anywhere nearby. No spirit, no morale, angry customers, disinterested owners. Good times!

You Kidding?

Drove for miles, dusty miles. Just wanted to get a beer and play a little. Guess what? No beer, wine, etc. Only casino in Oregon that has no liquor license. What's up with that??

Average or better

I have played at every casino in Oregon and several in Washington and California. This is certainly not the best, but for the location I believe it ranks above average.

I have stayed at the Rapids motel (not 5 star, but ok) several times and Melita's motel (substandard at best). The casino offers a shuttle from most of central Oregon.

Fishing and camping is excellent up to 50 miles in all directions. Give it a try. If you go there not expecting the MGM Grand, you can have a good time.

Bottom of the Barrel

An awful experience. Possibly the worst experience in a casino I've had in years.

The outside of the casino looks like it hasn't been attended to in a long time. There is no buffet, and the food they served was cold and overcooked.

Slots were ok, some newer ones. They only offered blackjack in the small pit area but the dealers seem bored. The only thing that keeps this place open is, it has no competition. No hotel, some RV services, heavy truck traffic makes the parking lot a mess. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
