I frequent this casino for the blackjack. They offer 6 deck shoes with $5-$25 minimums, good rules (Double any first two cards, double after split, no resolution aces, 1 card only on aces) and great penetration (1/2 deck cut card). Single deck sucks ($25 min on weekends) with 6:5 blackjack payoff but little to no heat for 1 to 8 spread. Rule of 6 for penetration.
Not so hot
Have been there twice and the payouts were so poor that no matter what I bet we never even won the amount of the bet.
Not going back for gambling, food was good though
Seven Feathers Update
Stopped today on our way home. They have done some work since the last time we were there. The casino area in now more open with a large selection of machines. They made a new non-smoking area which is the best we have seen. The non smoking area is nice sized and had its own entrance from outside. You never have to enter the smoking area if you don't want. It has its own bathrooms and even a small sports bar. The effort they put into the upgrades was much appreciated. We will be back!
Oregon Casino Tour - 7 Feathers
Have been here several times as it is near our home. Machines can be tight like any other Oregon Casino as there is no requirement for payback. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced for what we ordered. Wife has previously stayed at Hotel and found it good. She thought it was better than average and would stay again. Like most Players clubs, the giveaways are based on how much you play and not much use for me as I am not a huge gambler. This is probably one of the better Oregon Casinos. Easy to find as it within sight of the interstate with ample signage. Town has a couple of small antique shops and a very small coin shop so, not much to do except the casino. Would return.
Best RV Park
This casino has the best RV Park in Oregon, and is reasonably priced. There's nothing left to add, they have every amenity you can imagine. It is quiet, clean, and beautifully landscaped with flowers, trees,a beautiful creek, sidewalks, and all level concrete pads, with an indoor Pool and Hot tub, and free shuttle service from your door to the Casino and back. As others have stated the slots could be a little more forgiving but we have on occasion left with enough to fill our RV gas tank. We have stayed at the Hotel once or twice also and it is very nice too. This is a great place for adult play.
We went back again....
We have returned to this part of the country to work again as volunteers for Oregon State Parks so naturally we stopped at Seven Feathers Casino. Still a beautiful place with lots of new machines and friendly people. Unfortunately the slots are so tight you never win anything. One man sitting next to me put 70.00 in a machine and did not get one bonus or big play. If they would loosen up the slots a bit, this would be an incredible casino. It's busy but I think it is because it is on the highway. Probably will go back because I just like it and the food is good.
Table games and amenities or hotel ones (1) because did not use.
Come for the atmosphere!
Lovely setting, easy access, spectacular service. No one really thinks they will take their money home do they? Ok around you... you help pay for this place people! That said it is all about having fun. Great entertainment in the lounge, friendly staff, best coffee we've ever had..its a good place to drop a couple hundred bucks some nights it takes longer than others :)
New hotel addition sensational; Thursday seafood b
On our way to Lacey, WA from Monterey Bay, California we stayed here overnight and found it to be a perfect choice. We hit the Thursday night seafood buffet that pleased everyone in our age range from 1 yr to 82 yrs (six party family). They gave us a large family suite with a huge handicapped bathroom (room 567) that was really reasonable $156.00 plux tax (CSAA). Most of us were too tired from traveling to gamble, but the baby and his parents thoroughly enjoyed the indoor pool. You can buy Little Swimmers in the gift shop. It was a pleasure to stay here and we'll be back!
Beautiful casino and very large. We did not do very well on the slots, they did not seem to be paying but it certainly is a very professional atmosphere. Would definitely go back.
John its worth the Drive
The best casino in Oregon. We drive over 3 hrs to get there and its worth it. Every part of it is very good. Its like going to a top notch casino in Vegas and paying a 1/4 price.
Best in Oregon
Great casino in a non-casino(except for tribal) state. Free valet parking, large for a tribal casino. and the Fri night seafood buffet is very good.
Excellent atmoshere. Great sports bar.
Best in Oregon
Oh my gosh. There is nothing like 7 Feathers in Oregon. Clean, friendly with the best Bingo in the State. Big payouts. They are continually updating slots with many promotions for players club.
They even have a speciality coffee stand, evening entertainment and the best Sunday Brunch ever. The service is a 10 and the rooms are immaculate and well appointed. If you live in northern Oregon.....its worth the drive. Nothing can compare. From the minute you see the huge eagle at the front of the casino, you know you have arrived someplace very special.
