El Cortez: Extending its $15 FREE dining credit promotion through the end of September for all active U.S. military personnel as further appreciation and support for the U.S. Armed Forces. This promotion, which began in August, provides a $15 dining credit valid at The Flame Steakhouse and Café Cortez to anyone presenting a valid active military ID during August and September. Individuals are limited to one dining credit per day and no minimum purchase is required.
Casino MonteLago: Celebrate Labor Day with Chef Paul’s Smokin’ Barbecue at Casino MonteLãgo’s Tenuta Patio Saturday, September 5 from 12 p.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday, September 6 and Monday, September 7 from 12 p.m.-6 p.m. Chef Paul Jones, who previously owned the “Smells Like Smoke” barbecue restaurant in Los Angeles will serve an array of Southern barbecue favorites including smoked ribs, Southern-style Hot Links, barbecue brisket, barbecue chicken, and much more. Monte Carlo: Formerly the Brew Pub, The Pub is scheduled to reopen September 2 in time for the kickoff of the 2009 football season. This fan favorite hangout is getting a makeover and introducing new beer selections and a new menu to enhance watching the game, listening to Zowie Bowie every Friday and Saturday night or playing an intense game of beer pong. An extensive selection of more than 50 distinctive beers on tap will include an international variety of ales, lagers and stouts. The menu will offer pub-style favorites with a focus on burgers including 15 specialty burgers and a create-your-own burger with a selection of more than 30 ingredients. The menu also will feature appetizers, salads, specialty flatbreads, spiked milkshakes and more. The Pub will open daily at 11 a.m. Must be 21 or older after 10 p.m.
M Resort: Celebrate the Labor Day holiday at Villaggio Del Sole Entertainment Piazza at the M Resort Spa Casino. The resort will host ‘End of Summer Festival ’09,’ a Labor Day bash on Sunday, September 6 from 3-8 p.m. poolside. Admission is FREE to the public. The event will feature live musical performances, a fresh lemonade stand, watermelon-eating contest, a festival of food and a fireworks show. Loveshack will perform from 3-5:30 p.m. Nitro will perform from 5:30-8 p.m. Enjoy a feast of food favorites including south of the border fare, American classics, barbeque, burgers and hotdogs, cotton candy, gelatos, shaved ice and even M’s homemade pastries. Gather around the pool deck for a wide variety of FREE activities for the kids including face painting, temporary tattoos and balloon art. Tickets will be available to purchase at the Pool Hut for all food and beverage items. Food items will be priced between $2 and $5. A special adults-only Labor Day Lounge will include shaded seating and beverage areas. 32 Draft Bar Lounge will offer beer tastings and the Hostile Grape Lounge area will offer wine by the glass. Summer Pool Promotions
M Resort: Spring/Summer: FREE poolside entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays from 5-9 pm. Las Vegas Hilton: Las Vegas Hilton Cool by the Pool (located on the 3rd floor pool deck) is back for the summer. Imperial Palace: Welcomes another sizzling summer season of the poolside, Imperial Hawaiian Luau. In its 18th year, the open-air dinner show features an all-you can eat buffet, all-you-can drink adult beverages and a souvenir Pagoda cup for every ticket holder. The Hawaiian Imperial Luau performs every Tuesday and Saturday through Sept. 29. Tickets for the Imperial Hawaiian Luau are on sale now at the Imperial Palace box office, or by calling 702-731-3311. Bikini blackjack is available Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 7:00 p.m. and will last throughout the summer. In addition to the new blackjack tables, the area offers a large resort swimming pool, hot tub, newly upgraded cabanas, bar, and bikini-clad blackjack dealers. Additional daily poolside activities include, pool volleyball tournaments, water balloon toss and beer pong tournaments. The café recently launched a tasty new lunch menu, which includes gourmet salads and sandwiches, as well as an upgraded bar menu with a variety of specialty cocktails. The outdoor pool area is located on the 8th floor of the Stratosphere and is open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
