Santa Fe Station: On Wednesday, Dec. 31, the popular Stoney’s brand, known for entertaining Las Vegas with the hottest country nightlife opens Stoney’s North Forty at Santa Fe Station. In advance of the opening, Santa Fe Station brings to life Stoney’s Rockin’ Pit, a dedicated gaming pit celebrating the Stoney’s entertainment experience. It will offer six blackjack tables, Stoney’s-themed dealers and of course rockin’ music. Stoney’s Rockin’ Pit will open for a limited time beginning Friday, Dec. 26 through January 17. The pit will be open from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Players in Stoney’s Rockin’ Pit Dec. 26-31 will receive a raffle ticket for each blackjack they hit and be entered into a drawing for the chance to compete in the first tournament scheduled for Dec. 31 at 7 p.m. 28 lucky winners will be drawn to compete in the tournament and the winner will receive a VIP table and bottle service that night inside Stoney’s North Forty.  Similar blackjack tournaments will occur each weekend through January 17 inside the Stoney’s Rockin’ Pit.  Stoney’s North Forty will grand open with a New Year’s Eve party on Dec. 31 beginning at 9 p.m. that includes a midnight balloon drop and champagne toast for $25 in advance and $35 at the door. Jerry’s Nugget: Now through December 31, More Club members have the opportunity to earn electronic entries for two cash drawings being held on New Year’s Eve. One electronic drawing entry will be awarded for every 100 points earned in a day by playing slots, video poker and video keno. Players who earn 4,000 points in a day will receive an extra 25 entries for that day. There will be two cash drawings on New Year’s Eve, each with two winners. The first drawing will take place at 9:30 p.m. and will award $500 and $1,000. The second drawing at 10:30 p.m. will award $1,000 and $1,500 to two lucky More Club members. In addition to the cash giveaway, 50 players will be eligible to participate in the $5,000 Instant Hot Player Giveaway. Machines will be selected at random between 7:00 p.m. and midnight and each player whose machine is selected will receive $100 in free play. December Gambling Podcast - The Best Things to See and Do in Las Vegas. Vegas Club: Between December 1 and January 1, players can earn drawing tickets for a chance to drive away with a brand new 2009 Pontiac Vibe in its $20,000 Cash and Car Giveaway. During the month of December, players will receive an entry to the Cash and Car Giveaway drawing for every 100 points they accumulate. The drawing will be held on New Year’s Day at 5 p.m. Ten players will win keys to the car, however, only one key will start the car. The other nine will win $500 cash. Players must be present to win. On January 1, Double Entry Day, players will receive two entries for every 100 points accumulated.

California, Main Street Station or Fremont: Play and earn collectible Coca Cola Plush Toys while supplies last. Bellagio: Gallery of Fine Art is pleased to announce the extension of its popular “American Modernism” exhibition.  The compelling collection now can be viewed through January 2, 2009.  Organized by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), the exhibition features masterworks by Georgia O’Keeffe, Stuart Davis, Marsden Hartley, Arshile Gorky and others.  The period known as American Modernism began at the turn of the 20th century and reached its pinnacle between World War I and World War II.  During this time, celebrated artists such as O’Keeffe began experimenting with painting by offering a subjective take on traditional still life and landscape techniques. Tickets for “American Modernism” are $15 for general admission, $12 for Nevada residents and seniors 65 and older, $10 for students, teachers and military with valid ID, and children 12 and younger are FREE.

Ellis Island Casino: Celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year, now offering 40X (forty) points on select machines, including some video poker machines. Coast Casinos: Registration has begun for the 31st annual Pick the Pros football contest at all Coast Casino locations. This year’s contest is free and $30,000 will be awarded each week during the 2008 regular professional football season. Each week is a new contest (you do not have to participate for the entire season) and a total of  $30,000 will be awarded to the winner or winners with a $10,000 guaranteed top prize each week. Contest participants will not compete against the point spread, but rather pick winners. Each participant will receive three free entries per week to select their winning teams. Guests interested in participating can register in the race and sports book at The Orleans, Sam’s Town, Suncoast or Gold Coast.
