Mayl Gambling Podcast - The American Casino Guide has a monthly podcast hosted by the book's author, Steve Bourie, who talks about topics of interest to travelers who like to visit casinos and during the course of each show he interviews a special guest from the world of casino travel or gambling.

Stratosphere: Hosting a wet and wild Cinco de Mayo Fiesta on Wednesday, May 5 at the Level 8 Pool starting at 11 a.m. With free cover, drink specials, hot models, games and live entertainment, the party will last all day and well into the night. No Cinco de Mayo party is complete without tequila, so Stratosphere is offering discounted margarita pitchers and $2 Jell-O shots while the Hornitos tequila girls will be pouring $3 Hornitos shots with every beer purchase. Tacos al carbon will be grilled poolside, as well as char grilled ancho chili marinated chicken, tequila marinated carne asada, plancha seared garlic cilantro rock shrimp and a salsa bar. Guests can play to win at Bikini Blackjack from noon to 10 p.m. with beautiful bikini-clad dealers. DJ Wicked will spin the hottest jams during the day, followed by the world beat of Rhythmic Soul, a unique DJ/percussion/horn trio that performs at 6 p.m. Volleyball, beer pong, bags and other fun beach games will be set up on the deck. Additionally, over a dozen Brazilian bikini models will be on hand. Located outdoors on the eighth floor of the World Tower, the Level 8 Pool features a 67,000 square foot deck, hot tub, private cabanas and poolside café and bar.
Jerry’s Nugget: MoreClub More Cash Giveaway game. To qualify, slot, video poker and video keno players must earn 1,000 points in one day (4 am to 3:59 am counts as one day). Pit players can participate by earning 140 points for their rated play. The next day, all qualified players will have the opportunity to play the MoreClub More Cash game at any kiosk from 8 am to midnight. Cash prizes range from $10 to $100 free cash. Guests can play the MoreClub More Cash game on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays in May. The first day to earn points is Thursday, May 6 and every Thursday thereafter.
Fitzgeralds: The Great Escape Give-Away-A-Day is underway through September 5. Harrah’s Entertainment Properties in Las Vegas: Offering a new 24-hour buffet pass. Initally priced at $29.99, it was later raised to $34.99 for Total Rewards members and $39.99 for non-members. The pass allows you to visit as many of the following buffets, as often as you like, within a 24-hour period:

Guests may purchase the pass at the buffet cashier at any of the participating buffets for $29.99 per person, plus tax and is valid for 24 hours from when initially purchased. There is no limit to the amount of times the guest may use their buffet pass within those 24 hours. The pass will not enable the guest to skip the line. Only VIPs and customers who have purchased express line passes (where available) are able to enter through VIP entrances. For Total Rewards customers, the Total Rewards card will serve as the pass. For customers who are not part of Total Rewards, there are two options: a wristband or identifier card. A photo ID must be presented with the Total Rewards Card and Identifier Card for access in to the buffets.
