Here’s what we found for the week of May 9, 2010...
Plaza/Vegas Club: Spring Fever Hot Seat Giveaway. From May 6 - 22 you can win cash, FREE slot play or other great prizes just for playing your favorite slots with your player’s club card. Rewards will be given out every 20 minutes every Thursday thru Saturday from 4 pm - midnight. See the Players Club for details.
Western: Spring Cash & TV Giveaway. Earn entries May 2 - May 29. Every $50+ jackpot, suited blackjack, 21 game keno purchase, $20 Poker buy-in, cashed payroll check, or $5 food purchase at the Eazy Café will earn one entry ticket. On each Saturday at 8 pm- May 15 and 22 the casino will be giving away one 32” flat screen LCD TV and three $100 CASH prizes. On Saturday, May 29 the Grand Prize drawing will be held one 42” flat screen LCD TV, home theater audio system with DVD, and entertainment stand will be given away. Earn double entry days every Tuesday and Thursday.
Palms: $100K Spring Of Cash Swipe and Win promotion May 16-20, located in the Promotions Center 8 am-10 pm. One prize will be awarded each promotional swipe day to all Club Palms members who swipe their Club Palms card. The Promotion Center and the promotion kiosks located on the casino floor will be equipped with a card swipe device, display screen and printer. After an eligible participant’s card has been properly swiped through the device, the monitors will display a prize and a receipt/voucher will be dispensed.
Binion’s Gambling Hall: 4th Annual Binion’s Poker Classic. Tournament play begins May 26 and features deeper stacks, more of the popular HORSE events, and an earlier Main Event. All-in-all, Binion’s will seat players for 46 different games over 47 straight days ending July 11. The ever-popular No Limit Hold’em is the most featured, with 31 events scheduled, including Ladies Only on June 9. Due to player demand, there will be three HORSE events this year on June 4, June 18, and July 9. The Main Event will take place earlier, slated for June 30, and has the highest buy-in of the Poker Classic at $1,000. Some events are as little as $100 buy-ins, while most fall within $150-$200 range. Generally, the buy-ins at the Binion’s Poker Classic are about one-tenth of the World Series of Poker events. Registered players in this year’s Poker Classic also will be extended a special room rate at the Four Queens Hotel & Casino. To participate in any of the Binion’s Poker Classic events, players simply register the day of the event in which they would like to play. For No Limit Hold’em events, registration opens three hours prior to the start time. For all other games, registration opens two hours ahead of time. Last year, approximately 10,000 people played in the Poker Classic.
Imperial Palace: Now through May 26, Matsuri is offering special savings and deals just for Las Vegas locals. Residents can purchase tickets to enjoy Japan’s famed “Muscle Musical” Matsuri for just $15 each (two ticket maximum purchase per person). Matsuri can be seen daily inside the Imperial Showroom at Imperial Palace. Show times are 4 pm Saturday - Thursday, with an 8 pm show on Fridays. Cannery: $7,000 Table Games BBQ Bucks Giveaway. Players receive a drawing ticket for every half hour they play from April 26 – May 30. Three winners are selected every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm to win a $500 Lowe’s gift certificate towards the purchase of a BBQ grill. Second prize $100 in Cannery table games chips.
Barley’s Casino & Brewing Company: Hosting its seventh annual Brewfest on Saturday, May 15 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. The festival showcases beers from all over the world including Buckbean Brewing Company, Boulder Dam Brewing Company, Gordon Biersch, Stone Brewing Company, Tenaya Creek, Chicago Brewing Company, Czechvar, Bosteel and Kokanee, among others. Barley’s is serving up three different brews including a special surprise brew created by Brewmaster Jim Wilson just for the event. The Brewfest takes place outside on the patio and courtyard, the perfect place for guests to sample beer from more than 30 different breweries or purchase cocktails from the full bar. In addition to the selection of unique craft brews, there is live music throughout the day. DJ Ron Ferraro is spinning from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. followed by local bands Otherwise, Kil Jaden and Noise Media from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. A $5 sandwich menu featuring barbeque pulled pork, smoked beef brisket, hot link sausage, half-pound burgers and bratwurst sausage is available as well. Tickets for the Brewfest are $30 per person or $25 for Brew Club members and can be purchased at the door the day of the event. All guests must be 21 years or older.
Monte Carlo: Lance Burton's run at the Monte Carlo will come to an end on Sept. 4th so the Monte Carlo is offering tickets to his "Master Magician" show at 2-for-1 prices for the month of May with a valid Nevada I.D. The pre-summer prices offer a good opportunity for people of all ages to catch his show in The Lance Burton Theater. For reservations call (702) 730-7160.

Jerry’s Nugget: MoreClub More Cash Giveaway game. To qualify, slot, video poker and video keno players must earn 1,000 points in one day (4 am to 3:59 am counts as one day). Pit players can participate by earning 140 points for their rated play. The next day, all qualified players will have the opportunity to play the MoreClub More Cash game at any kiosk from 8 am to midnight. Cash prizes range from $10 to $100 free cash. Guests can play the MoreClub More Cash game on Friday, Saturdays and Sundays in May. The first day to earn points is Thursday, May 6 and every Thursday thereafter.

Harrah’s Entertainment Properties in Las Vegas: Offering a new 24-hour buffet pass. Initally priced at $29.99, it was later raised to $34.99 for Total Rewards members and $39.99 for non-members. The pass allows you to visit as many of the following buffets, as often as you like, within a 24-hour period:

Guests may purchase the pass at the buffet cashier at any of the participating buffets for $29.99 per person, plus tax and is valid for 24 hours from when initially purchased. There is no limit to the amount of times the guest may use their buffet pass within those 24 hours. The pass will not enable the guest to skip the line. Only VIPs and customers who have purchased express line passes (where available) are able to enter through VIP entrances. For Total Rewards customers, the Total Rewards card will serve as the pass. For customers who are not part of Total Rewards, there are two options: a wristband or identifier card. A photo ID must be presented with the Total Rewards Card and Identifier Card for access in to the buffets.
