Arizona Charlie’s Boulder/Decatur: Offering a FREE buffet all day to any veteran on Veteran’s Day, Tuesday, November 11, just for showing their DD214 ID.
South Point: For Veteran’s Day, Tuesday, November 11, the casino is offering a FREE breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Garden Buffet to all active or retired military plus one guest when a proper ID is presented.
Silverton: Awarding random freeplay to players on weekends in November. Every 5 minutes from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Fridays through Sundays, $100 cash will be randomly awarded to one carded slot player. Tropicana: $25,000 Pilgrims’ Pride Slot Tournament on Friday and Saturday, November 14 and 15. Harrah’s Las Vegas: From November 10 – 16, Jersey rock veteran John Eddie brings his working-class style of rock to Las Vegas for a limited engagement. Eddie is widely known for his tours on the club circuit, but is most often praised for sharing the stage with fellow performer Bruce Springsteen. Eddie’s hit song “LowLife” was recently released on Kid Rock’s newest album Rock n Roll Jesus. Live music starts at 9:00 p.m. at Toby Keith’s: I Love This Bar & Grill inside Harrah’s Las Vegas. Open to the public, 21 years and older. Admission is FREE.
Planet Hollywood: “STOMP OUT LOUD,” the high-energy production from the creators of the international sensation STOMP, will end its engagement at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on January 4, 2009. Las Vegas locals have the opportunity to take advantage of a two-for-one ticket offer on the top two tiers ($79 and $99) for the remainder of the run. STOMP OUT LOUD performs in The Showroom at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino nightly at 7:00 p.m. with ticket prices ranging from $59 to $99. El Cortez: Cash is King Drawing. For every 5,000 earned points during the month of November, players receive one drawing ticket entered into the $25,000 Cash is King drawing in December. The December drawing takes place on Saturday, December 20 at 3 p.m. See Club Cortez for additional information.

Bellagio: Gallery of Fine Art is pleased to announce the extension of its popular “American Modernism” exhibition. The compelling collection now can be viewed through January 2, 2009. Organized by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), the exhibition features masterworks by Georgia O’Keeffe, Stuart Davis, Marsden Hartley, Arshile Gorky and others. The period known as American Modernism began at the turn of the 20th century and reached its pinnacle between World War I and World War II. During this time, celebrated artists such as O’Keeffe began experimenting with painting by offering a subjective take on traditional still life and landscape techniques. Tickets for “American Modernism” are $15 for general admission, $12 for Nevada residents and seniors 65 and older, $10 for students, teachers and military with valid ID, and children 12 and younger are FREE.

Jerry's Nugget: Offering a discount to active and non-active members of the military at Jerry’s Famous Coffee Shop and Uncle Angelo’s Pizza Joint. The More Club Military Discount program will grant active members of the military a 25 percent discount on meals purchased at either restaurant. Non-active military, including veterans and retired personnel, will receive a 15 percent discount. The discount is eligible on dine-in orders of $10 or more and includes food and all beverage choices with the exception of food specials inside Jerry’s Famous Coffee Shop. Customers who wish to participate in this promotion should present their military ID, along with their More Club card, to the More Club counter for enrollment. Once enrolled, participants can swipe their More Club card at the main kiosk to receive a discount ticket. One discount ticket may be used per customer per day. These discount levels are valid through Tuesday, November 11. Following Veteran’s Day, the discount amounts will be 20 percent and 10 percent for active and non-active military, respectively.
Jerry's Nugget: Hosting a series of blackjack tournaments on the first Tuesday of each month through December. Members of The More Club who wish to try their luck at blackjack have the opportunity to win cash prizes. The first place winner receives $1,000 and the second place winner $500. The third and fourth place prizes are $300 and $100, respectively. The entrants who come in fifth and sixth receive $50 each. Tournament spaces are limited and will be on a first come, first serve basis. All entrants must be More Club members and at least 21 years of age. Coast Casinos: Registration has begun for the 31st annual Pick the Pros football contest at all Coast Casino locations. This year’s contest is free and $30,000 will be awarded each week during the 2008 regular professional football season. Each week is a new contest (you do not have to participate for the entire season) and a total of $30,000 will be awarded to the winner or winners with a $10,000 guaranteed top prize each week. Contest participants will not compete against the point spread, but rather pick winners. Each participant will receive three free entries per week to select their winning teams.
