South Point: Breeders’ Cup Party, Saturday, October 25 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom. Plaza Hotel & Casino: On October 31, guests have the chance to collect tickets to enter a drawing for the Jack-O-Lantern Jackpots at both the Plaza and its sister property the Vegas Club Hotel & Casino. Both properties will collect tickets from guests between 8:00 p.m. and midnight. Drawings will be held at the Plaza, where 10 lucky guests will be selected to choose from 10 jack-o-lanterns to win cash prizes. Inside each jack-o-lantern is a cash prize, ranging from $100 to $500. Players must be present to win. There are several ways to earn drawing tickets including one entry for every 50 points earned or hitting 4 of kind of “10’s” on video poker and any two “10’s” at the Blackjack tables. Bellagio: Gallery of Fine Art is pleased to announce the extension of its popular “American Modernism” exhibition. The compelling collection now can be viewed through January 2, 2009. Organized by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), the exhibition features masterworks by Georgia O’Keeffe, Stuart Davis, Marsden Hartley, Arshile Gorky and others. The period known as American Modernism began at the turn of the 20th century and reached its pinnacle between World War I and World War II. During this time, celebrated artists such as O’Keeffe began experimenting with painting by offering a subjective take on traditional still life and landscape techniques. Tickets for “American Modernism” are $15 for general admission, $12 for Nevada residents and seniors 65 and older, $10 for students, teachers and military with valid ID, and children 12 and younger are FREE.
Terrible's Hotel Casino: "Pumpkin Patch of Cash Giveaway." Every Wednesday through Oct. 29, the casino will draw 10 winners at 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Each winner will be offered either $300 or a chance to choose one of 200 envelopes containing $100-$10,000. All Players Club members receive one drawing ticket for every 250 points ($250 coin-in) earned on their cards beginning Oct. 1 up to a maximum of 200 per week.

Tropicana Las Vegas: Offering “Double Cash Back” through October 23. Tropicana Winner’s Club members playing all tracked slot games, including video poker, will automatically earn double cash back. Jerry's Nugget: Offering a discount to active and non-active members of the military at Jerry’s Famous Coffee Shop and Uncle Angelo’s Pizza Joint. The More Club Military Discount program will grant active members of the military a 25 percent discount on meals purchased at either restaurant. Non-active military, including veterans and retired personnel, will receive a 15 percent discount. The discount is eligible on dine-in orders of $10 or more and includes food and all beverage choices with the exception of food specials inside Jerry’s Famous Coffee Shop. Customers who wish to participate in this promotion should present their military ID, along with their More Club card, to the More Club counter for enrollment. Once enrolled, participants can swipe their More Club card at the main kiosk to receive a discount ticket. One discount ticket may be used per customer per day. These discount levels are valid through Tuesday, November 11. Following Veteran’s Day, the discount amounts will be 20 percent and 10 percent for active and non-active military, respectively.
Jerry's Nugget: Hosting a series of blackjack tournaments on the first Tuesday of each month through December. Members of The More Club who wish to try their luck at blackjack have the opportunity to win cash prizes. The first place winner receives $1,000 and the second place winner $500. The third and fourth place prizes are $300 and $100, respectively. The entrants who come in fifth and sixth receive $50 each. Tournament spaces are limited and will be on a first come, first serve basis. All entrants must be More Club members and at least 21 years of age. Check-in at the pit for each tournament will start at 6:30 p.m. and the first round will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. Customers interested in participating in these tournaments can register at The More Club for an entry fee of $15 per tournament. Coast Casinos: Registration has begun for the 31st annual Pick the Pros football contest at all Coast Casino locations. This year’s contest is free and $30,000 will be awarded each week during the 2008 regular professional football season. Each week is a new contest (you do not have to participate for the entire season) and a total of $30,000 will be awarded to the winner or winners with a $10,000 guaranteed top prize each week. Contest participants will not compete against the point spread, but rather pick winners. Each participant will receive three free entries per week to select their winning teams.
