Stay Away From This Casino

My wife and I have visited this casino 4-5 times in the last year and we are not going back. The machines have been screwed down so there is literally no payout. One can put $10 in a couple of machines, and in 2 minutes you are out of plays and have won nothing at all. Looks to me like they are trying to pay for the place in a short time. The casino payouts use to be a little better but lately there is no reason to go there, as Wisconsin has some better places to gamble. Also, the food is lousy and buffet is not fit to eat either. The place smells of smoke and the machines are really close together. In addition, the drinks are very expensive.

They are cheapskates

I must say in all the years I have gambled at this casino, I have never, ever seen such a cheap casino. The paybacks are pathetic, and if they do, you make $2 on a 15 spin bonus on a penny machine. Bonuses are meant not only for entertainment, yet you would think they would find in in their hearts to keep their patrons happy by at least paying THREE DOLLARS at times! A lot of player's favorites are not available anymore...they have been replaced with crappy machines that no one plays, except when it is the weekend and there are no other machines to play. I am beginning to think they consider a jackpot $100. It is ridiculous...they also have rude employees that smirk and laugh at you while you are playing. They fail to remember that without us losing our money in their smoke-filled, negative establishment, they would not have jobs. As far as the hotel, I have only stayed there once so I would have to say it is alright. The business center is nice and quiet, although if you are not a guest you need a key to access it. The buffet is decent, but not as good as some of the buffets in Vegas, Ho Chunks buffet or Mystic Lake's buffet, which is in Prior Lake, Minnesota. Over the years, their player's club has gotten better, but they still have a long way to go. In conclusion, if they got their heads on straight, called for better paybacks on the machines and hired more considerate dealers and other employees. everyone would be happier.

Oneida casino and Mason Street casino same owners

Don't waste your time, it is weird machines and they do not pay at all. Mason Street Casino, a smaller casino, is so bad that you'd have more fun burning your money and a better chance of doubling it, that is how bad Mason Street is. The cashiers are VERY RUDE!!!! One woman yelled at me because her shift was ending in the cashiers cage and told me to hurry up to the window. What a WITCH! Don't waste your time going to Mason Street Casino.

Love this casino!

We enjoy overnight trips to Oneida Casino and stay on the property at the Radisson Hotel. I play slots and win quite often. Table games seem to be so-so, winning a little or losing a little. We love the people at the Players Club booth! They are always cheerful, friendly, and the lines are usually very short or non-existent. Lots of security around, but we never feel like we need it here -- very comfortable. Casino is packed on weekend evenings and it's difficult to get on a favorite machine. The weekend brunch at the Buffet is nice, but otherwise, meals at the buffet are average. Go to the Pub and Grill/ restaurant nearer the hotel end of the building for a delicious sandwich. We love staying at the Radisson Hotel-- very friendly/ professional staff that is very accommodating. We bypass Potowatomi (very close to home), and drive 2 hours a couple of times a month to go to Oneida! Way better atmosphere, winning odds, and customer service!!!

Great Place to Have a Great Time.

We recently visited this casino and all I can say is WOW. This is one of the best casinos we have ever visited. They have outstanding customer service and gaming. We needed directions and their security personal could give us the info from there to the front door of the place we were going. This casino is really a great place to play and have a good time. Great job Oneida Casino. Thanks for the wonderful customer service.

Place is horrible

The trend toward the electronic gaming is sad. Further...for the novice that enjoys gaming on nickle machines - it appears there is no room for me at the casinos any longer. I also could not believe the lack of any winning spins on the few electronic nickle machines I played. I am also aware that Indian casinos would rather pay the fines for not paying out and take in even more cash. Wisconsin needs to eliminate the monopoly and start allowing county gaming regionally across the state. It is controlled and the money can go back toward the schools at least. Having moved here recently from Iowa - there are better payouts in Iowa and the property taxes are lower - why not put your gaming money back into your communities?

put your money in your gas tank!

Geesh if the Oneida's tightened the machines anymore, they wouldn't even spin!
I agree with the majority of the other reviews. You can POUR the money in and get next to nothing back to even play with.

The days of being able to entertain yourself at their slots are DONE! It's more entertaining to them watching all us fools fill their machines. Put your money in the gas tank and take a ride 30 minutes up the road. Even if you lose, at least you can say "they let me play"!

YOU ARE GETTING PAID????????

I donate to the tribe every time I go, I really ought to stop, but that's one of the reasons I visit the area===family, the Packers and to contribute. The selection of slots are good, and as well the table games. Don't expect to win, though. My family used to win about 2-3 years ago, but not so much lately. They haven't learned their lesson, either.

Paying for drinks at 4-5 dollars a pop irritates me, they should be free, that's why I like Vegas and AC. The casino in Milwaukee must be quite a dump for the other people to proceed hours to come here.

Oh, and by the way, a friend witnessed (allegedly) the casino staff disable a machine that was winning when the patron went to the bathroom. The patron pulled out his ticket, and reserved his machine by placing a cup on the seat. When he came back, the machine was disabled. You be the judge. Buyer beware.

BAD BAD PAYOUTS

I think it's pretty bad when you play over $3,000 in two days through the slots and walk out the door with nothing!!!!!!!!! I guess that says all there is to say about Oneida.

ANOTHER GOOD ONE

My wife and I have returned again from an overnight stay at Oneida.Once again, the staff was courteous and friendly!

We won again but as usual, I gave alot of mine back but had fun doing so! Seriously, if you go, take the time to go to the Mason Street Casino.(shuttle provided). Great selection of older quarter and dollar machines. I love the 3 reelers and they have lots! And they seem to pay well.
My thanks again to the folks at Oneida for their hospitality!

Such Change

Been going there since I was 21, and I enjoyed it before they brought all those new games in within the past 18 months. The new games just don't pay out like the old ones did. A lot of the games now just take your money so fast its crazy!

Ever since they converted to ticket-in, ticket-out the good games are now gone and replaced with ones that eat up your money like it's water. I have played on all denominations there, your best odds are on dollars.

The new penny, 2 cent, nickel, and especially quarter games will eat your money up QUICKLY with very little play for the dollar. In order to win on most games there you need a bet of $5 a play to win anything, unless you're playing dollar machine. Stick to the craps table and leave ahead if you go.

Potowatomi no more!

My wife and I just got back from an overnight stay at Oneida Bingo/Casino. We had a great time. Wonderful and friendly staff at all 3 casinos. They actually cared about you and didn't ignore you like the staff in Milwaukee! These people treated you the RIGHT way!

Good slot selection and payouts did not seem to have been tightened up! Another bad mark for the folks in Milwaukee. They had Rapid Roulette for $2.50 minimum and we had a blast playing.

Drink service was top notch too.We actually won some too but it really didn't matter because the whole experience was GREAT. I'm telling you the truth. We live in far northern Illinois and we will pass by Milwaukee from now on. It's worth the extra drive (only 2 1/2 hours for us) to be treated so well and not have to deal with lowlife patrons and rude or non-caring staff such as you find in Milwuakee.

Good riddance Potowatomi----Hello Oneida!!

"One of the Best"

Oneida's one of Wisconsins best! The casino package for the hotel that we received was excellent. Lots of free coupons for food and drinks that were all actually used!

The hotel itself was very, clean, comfortable and up to date. We mostly just play slots, but could play for a long time. (Not big payoffs, but enough to enjoy and keep playing !!!!)

The food at The Pine Tree Grill was excellent ! Even the "free" breakfast" was of "high" quality. We definitely will be going back !!!!!!

Oneida Casino

Oneida has a very good atmosphere and a lot of different kinds of slots. There are video poker machines where if you are dealt two or three aces you get a second chance to draw for additional aces. I had a lot of fun there.

Also there is a shuttle bus to the IMAC Casino/Bingo Hall which is only a block or so away. We didn't stay at the hotel so I don't know how it is, but it looks pretty good.
