Affinity announced its newly received Colorado gaming license last week and the company will be taking over the Golden Mardi Gras Casino, Golden Gates Casino and Golden Gulch Casino on October 31.
The three Black Hawk casinos were acquired by Affinity in February in an asset swap with Golden Gaming. Golden Gaming took over Affinity’s slot machine route business and continued to operate its casinos until Affinity was licensed in the state.
“The Black Hawk casinos are an important part of our future,” said Affinity Gaming Chief Executive Officer David Ross.
Affinity currently operates nine casinos in Nevada, two in Missouri and one in Iowa.
