Borgata Hotel Casino prepares for 9th annual World Poker Tour Poker Open Championship Event

The 2010 Borgata Poker Open Championship event drew a record-breaking field of1,042 players, the largest field in the history of the World Poker Tour. The 17-day tournament series will feature a wide range of events, including No Limit Hold’em, Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em, No Limit Hold’em 6-handed, Limit, Bounty and Heads Up events.  The WPT Borgata Poker Open Championship event will be recorded and broadcast on Fox Sports Network (FSN) as part of the WPT Season X .

Players can buy in directly, or enter a special online contest currently undergoing at Borgata’s site and awarding a $3,500 entry to the 2011 WPT Borgata Poker Open. Players only need to fill out an online form before Thursday, September 15th at 11:59 pm. Only one entry per person will be allowed. The winner will be announced on Friday, September 16th, 2011.

Online reservations for all Borgata Poker Open main events begins Monday, August 8, and will be available 24 hours a day through August 31st.  On-site registration for all events begins on Tuesday, September 6th at The Borgata.
