Las Vegas Strip casinos were up 2.3 percent from 2011, bringing in $6.2 billion in 2012.

Downtown Las Vegas casinos saw a  2.5 percent increase in revenue; the Boulder Strip was up 2.3 percent; Laughlin was down 0.6 percent; North Las Vegas saw a 1.9 percent increase and revenue at Mesquite casinos fell 0.2 percent.

Nevada casinos brought in $943.3 million in revenue in the month of December and revenue at Strip casinos was up 19.6 percent.
