Construction Begins on New Downtown Las Vegas Zip Line

Workers have begun drilling holes for the pylons that will hold up the zipline’s takeoff tower. Construction has alson begun on the landing pad at the Fremont casino, where riders will land after flying under the world’s largest LED video screen.

SlotZilla will have two sets of ziplines when complete and a second landing pad will be located in front of the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino. Riders on these lines will fly at speeds of up to 35 miles per hour while lying flat in a harness 112 feet above the ground.

The $11 million project is expected to be completed this summer.
