The racetrack, located in Northfield, Ohio, will soon begin work on its Northfield Village, a 184,000 square-foot complex featuring a central gaming area for video lottery terminals, an auditorium, comedy club, steak house, buffet, gift shop, and a Hard Rock Café. The building is expected to house about 2,500 VLTs.
“You’re going to see a lot of interesting design that’s timeless,” said Project Manager Gene Stancak. “We actually toured some of [Hard Rock’s] facilities and it’s a very exciting place to be.”
Officials at the Ohio casino say they would like to start construction at the beginning of October.
