“We’re going to try to have a dramatic visual impact on Freemont Street that blends the old with the new,” said owner and CEO Derek Stevens.
One part of the makeover that has already been completed is the Longbar, a 100-foot bar that stretches across the gaming floor. Officials for the Las Vegas casino say it’s the longest bar in the state.
The casino floor will eventually add new carpeting, new slots and dancing dealers as part of the remodel as well.
The remodel is expected to be completed this fall.
