The Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati is the state’s fourth and most recent casino to open and the incident occurred shortly after the casino had opened.
“The trend is once the casino opens, we do see a flurry of cheating cases,” said Karen Huey, director of enforcement at the Ohio Casino Control Commission. “We attribute that to the newness of the dealers, the newness of the facility. A lot of people try to come in and test the facility.”
Warrants have been issued and, if convicted, they could face probation or as much as two years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
