Florida Moms Who Left Children in Car While Gambling May Face Child Neglect Charges

The women were apparently inside the Florida casino for 20 minutes before returning to the car to find police waiting for them after a passerby had called 911. The two women, who are sisters, claimed they only entered the casino to use the restroom, but security cameras show they headed straight for the slot machines upon entering.
The state Department of Children and Families is currently investigating the matter, but three of the children have been returned to their mother's custody as she showed remorse and had no other criminal charges against her in the past.

The children were left in the car at night.

Two women who left their four children in a car outside Mardi Gras Casino in Hallandale Beach while they went inside to gamble last week may now face child neglect charges.
