According to numbers released by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, gamblers wagered $98,936,798 on the 2013 Super Bowl at Nevada casinos, a new record for the state.

The state’s previous record for bets placed on a Super Bowl was $93,067,358 in 2006 when the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Seattle Seahawks 21-10.

The sports books kept 7.3 percent of this number, a total of $7,206,460. This is the most Nevada sports books made off of a Super Bowl since 2007 when they brought in $12,930,175 after the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Chicago Bears 29-17.
