The 5.4 percent increase in revenue over January of 2012 was due mostly to an increase in table game revenue, which jumped 43.7 percent from $690,000 to $992,000 compared to January of last year. Last year, Deadwood casinos increased the bet limit at table games to $1000.

“Table games continue to enjoy great increase due entirely to the increase in bet limits that went into effect last summer,” said Deadwood Gaming Association President.

Revenue from slot machines was only up 1.5 percent in January.
