Golden Nugget Suing Steakhouse Over Use of Trademarked Name

Landry’s Inc., which owns the Nevada casinos, sued LongHorn in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas this week for using the trademarked Golden Nugget name. LongHorn used the name for a fried cheesecake and ice cream dessert.

In addition to the Golden Nugget Laughlin and The Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, Landry’s also owns several Las Vegas restaurants, including Landry’s Seafood House, McCormick & Schmick’s and the Rainforest Cafe.
