Hard Rock Asks For Six-Month Delay in Opening of New Atlantic City Casino

While New Jersey law previously required hotels to have at least 500 rooms, the hotel will start out with 208 rooms and eventually expand to 850.
Hard Rock also plans to have a pool, café for afternoon barbeques and an outdoor entertainment area all on the beach.

Hard Rock International is asking casino regulators in New Jersey for a six-month delay in opening their new Hard Rock Atlantic City casino.
The company has applied to build one of two new smaller boutique-style casinos as part of a pilot program designed to help the ailing Atlantic City casino market.
