Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort to unveil new hotel expansion

Works on the new five-story, 152-room hotel tower began in June, 2010. The casino hotel, operated by Las Vegas based Caesars Entertainment Corp., will unveil its new room tower to VIP guests on Friday and to the general public on Monday.

The new hotel tower features 152 rooms, including five suites, 15 ADA-accessible rooms and five guest suites. Each of the 152 new rooms include upgraded amenities such as granite countertops, 50-inch flat screen televisions and larger showers.

According Harrah’s Ak-Chin general manager Robert Livingstone, the expansion also provides the Arizona casino with new room for conventions and other large-scale events and meetings. In addition to the new tower, Harrah’s Ak-Chin expansion features a luxury resort pool with swim-up bar, a 40,000-square-foot casino, and a “lush assortment of greenery.”

“We are very fortunate that our hotel is always full. By adding these 152 rooms, we will be able to welcome more Harrah’s guests to enjoy the warm hospitality we provide to all our guests,” said Harrah’s Ak-Chin general manager Robert Livingstone.

Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino offers guests a comfortable 40,000-square-foot casino complete with fast-action slot games and video poker, keno, poker, live dealer blackjack, bingo and other exciting games available 24 hours a day.
