The expansion is currently the largest hospitality development project underway in the Southeast region and one of the largest in the country. Completion of the $633 million project is expected
The completed property will feature over 1,100 hotel rooms, more than 20 suites and a new 3rd hotel tower, luxury spa and a new 3,000 seat Events center, as well as new hotel and casino parking garages. Upon its completion in 2012, Harrah's Cherokee will have doubled the size of its casino floor to 150,000 square feet and increase its video and table game capacity by expanding its gaming offerings from 3,400 gaming stations to 4,700. The casino expansion also includes new table games such as live blackjack, raffle reels and Baccarito.
