The south eastern Indiana casino is working on the $50-million project with the help of Lawrenceburg city officials, but Hollywood will assume ownership of the property and manage it.

The 235,000-square-foot facility will feature a hotel with 160-180 rooms, a restaurant and bar, concert hall, and meeting and exhibition space. The project is expected to be completed in late 2013 and Hollywood officials hope the new offerings will help them to compete with casinos in neighboring states.

The opening of the Lawrenceburg facility will happen shortly after the opening of the Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati in downtown Cincinnati.
