The casino must hold a “controlled demonstration” before opening, during which invited guests play for free to simulate how the casino will operate when open.

The upper northwestern Ohio casino plans to hold its grand opening May 29th, and the $320 million property will have 2,000 slot machines, plus 80 table games. The opening will be just 15 days after Ohio’s first casino, Rock Ohio Caesars’ Horseshoe Casino opened in downtown Cleveland.
