Louisiana Casinos Post $203 Million Revenue Gain For June Compared to Last Year

Harrah's in downtown New Orleans, the state's only land-based casino, brought in $28 million. This was a slight drop from June of 2011.
The state's 12 riverboat casinos brought in $139.9 million and its four race tracks took in a combined $34.7 million. Both were up from June of last year.

During June, Louisiana casinos brought in about $203 million in gaming revenue. This is a three percent increase from June of last year, but a slight decrease from May.
The casinos that brought in the most money were Horseshoe Bossier City, Treasure Chest Casino in Kenner and Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge.
