The casino, which opened on September 27, 2010, with 1,500 slot machines, also averaged $219.23 per machine, per day during July.
Revenue at Casino at Ocean Downs has been constantly increasing month by month since its opening on January 4, 2011. The Casino at Ocean Downs generated $5,348,019.09 in July, up from $3.8 million in June, and reported a daily gross gaming revenue of $215.64 per machine.
Approximately 50% of the state’s gaming revenue benefits Maryland’s Education Trust Fund, while the casinos get a third of their take.
