Maryland Live had the highest revenue of the Maryland casinos, bringing in $35.9 million for the month. Hollywood Casino Perryville brought in $5.96 million and the Casino at Ocean Downs brought in $3.34 million in revenue.
Revenue was up for the year at Ocean Downs, with the casino bringing in $49.9 million in 2012. Hollywood Perryville, however, saw a drop in revenue for the year bringing in only $98.6 million compared to $110.8 million in 2011. This was due to competition from the new Maryland Live casino.
Maryland Live recently implemented 24-hour operations and both Maryland Live and Hollywood Perryville are currently working on adding table games. Officials at Ocean Downs are considering adding table games, but have not yet reached a decision.
