“These are good paying jobs. The majority of the folks will make $50,000 to $60,000 a dealer,” general manager Rob Norton said.
The training program is 12-weeks long and students will have pass a written exam and final interview before being offered a job at the casino.
Maryland Live recently implemented 24-hour operations and the property plans on adding over 100 table games to its casino this spring. The Hollywood Casino Perryville is also planning to add table games on a similar timeline and officials at the Casino at Ocean Downs are considering adding table games, but have not yet reached a decision.
