“This trend should benefit Las Vegas Strip gaming operators that cater to baccarat play, including Las Vegas Sands, Wynn Resorts and some of the high-end MGM properties, plus Caesars Palace,” said gaming analyst Bill Lerner.

According to the Nevada Gaming Control Board, the majority of revenue gains occurred in Southern Nevada and results varied throughout the state. Strip casinos brought in $459.3 million, a 7.45 percent increase from April of last year.

North Las Vegas casinos reported the largest increase at 42.3 percent from last year and Downtown Las Vegas revenues saw a 24.99 percent increase.
